I watched him get knocked down pretty easy last night. He did get up and get in on the play though. He hustles. But not seeing what they were saying before the draft. They acted like we got the best DT in the draft. Immediate impact player. I don’t see it. But am hopefull. Hyder and some of the others were playing good.

We reached for him because of his measurables.

Maliek Collins and even Taco are looking like they are following in DeMarcus Lawrence’s footsteps of taking a few years to develop and then getting a return on investment.

We’ll probably just have to wait on Hill too because right now he plays like he is trying to find his diamond earring in the dirt.

Marinelli will whip him into shape. He has the others playing well. He got thru to Taco. But it’s preseason and was a bad line they played against.

He actually had some nice plays last night but is still being outshined by less heralded players. He is still taken out of the play and ends up on the ground too often but I did think he looked better last night.

agree...right now he hasn't a clue what he's doing lol...not a knock on him...its just fact...he is a rookie. Next year I see him being better.

yep...many think draft position and need equates instant stud or starter. Its not how that position works at all.

Nothing new... can’t think of many DTs who absolutely killed it year 1 or 2 sometimes

Needs to hone in on that grown man strength but work on his technique to help him dominate

He's a second round draft pick, he's on the 53 man roster and will be part of the rotation on the defensive line....
