When/if he gets back on the field, he should be met with a resounding chorus of boos. Not that he'll care because if he cared about anything BUT himself, he'd already be on the field and not act like a punk off the field. Personally, I'd let it go 2-3 games into the season and see what happens. If we're 3-0, he played a horrible hand. If we're 0-3...fire Garrett. ;)

What about LBell?

His deal is 55 mill.

Right below TGurleys.

And Zeke is paid half.

It's hilarious that even after being told over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over how contracts really work, you still don't get it.

Very possibly could be right, I think they have agreed to most of the contract. Maybe going over the signing bonus and or guaranteed money.. I know he will be in condition but not used to contact, if he comes in and puts the ball on the ground a few times opening day, this fan base and likely some players will be mad beyond belief..
He might get boo'ed just running out of the tunnel at pregame ceremonies. It's happened before around the league.
Jeeze, the recent Colt's game shows the mood of NFL fans.

Your coworkers should Boo you when you take a day off and return to work the next day because....why?

The recent Colts game showed it should be considered a badge of honor to be booed by a bunch of drunken fools.
Thought it was sad to see. Gotta admire Luck for his higher ideals, like health and quality of life! I was always disappointed to see guys like Staubach retire, but accepted it without rancor.

I don’t think I would have a problem with him doing this if he wasn’t coming off the TMZ video.

I get a player wants to financially secure their future - but you also have to be self-aware of your recent actions and how they fit into negotiations. I just don’t think Zeke has grown up at all and he will screw up again soon. Actually, I wonder if he will lose a bit of passion once he gets that big contract, since he seems to love the night life

Huh? That doesn't even remotely make sense. Taking a day off and getting booed?? I take time off I am entitled to. He's supposed to be at work and is under contract to be working, let's not forget that here. I don't show up when I am supposed to be there I get fired. Perhaps he will too...or hopefully traded.

...and he wonders why no one wants him to be the face of their business in the form of sponsorships. I agree he's going to get lazy...and in trouble again.

Exactly. He's already made millions by a contract he totally expected the Cowboys to live up to, which they did. But when it's time for Zeke to live up to his part, he flies to Cabo and expects all his demands to be met. Talk about a Prima Donna!
If Jerry had any guts, he'd tell Zeke to make himself comfortable because he's going to sit for a while, and when he comes back he'll be second string backup behind Pollard.

Think Zeke might decide to fly back and talk about it then?

He has no leverage. Let him hold out. Feed Pollard, win anyway, and let him lose a year of eligibility.

Agreed. Zeke's only got as much leverage as Jerry gives him. If Jerry would turn his back, walk away, and start fining Zeke like he has every right to do for not showing up, Zeke would have NO leverage. Zero, Zip, Nada.

Nah.

We pay Zeke and we win.

Don't pay Zeke and we lose.

What kind of fan boos #21?!?

Spoiled fans.

Zekes leverage is simple.

Pay me or I sit
