Xavier Woods was solid in 2018 at FS and he was the "Star" of training camp on defense.

I think we're solid everywhere. But if I was to choose one my opinion was free safety. Most are choosing kicker

I've seen this team go down the playoffs tubes because of that both vs pass, as well as vs run.
And it remains among the most difficult positions to acquire a top notch stud that changes the dynamics of the game.

Otherwise its Tyron's back issue could loom huge as I don't have much trust in cam Fleming

I did not expect that. That's where it all starts. In the middle. Defensive tackle, middle linebacker, safety far as I'm concerned the three most important position on defense

I'm still fixated on how the Rams ran all over this team. Getting that corrected would be my #1 priority, so when I say "defensive tackle" I am including the tendencies and tells that destroyed us as well. Teams undoubtedly pored over tape of that game to find and potentially exploit those weaknesses for themselves. If they're fixed? Great, a great defense is back in business. If not? It could be a long season.

I haven't seen what Woods can do. So for me it's the floater free safety. I actually like Jeff Heat. Give me a bunch of players like him and I'll win a championship. I'll take football players every day over primadonnas. It's about coaching as much as the player. Now I know a lot of people don't like Jeff because they're not thinking about the entire picture

Woods was the starter at FS in 2018. He played 99.223% of the defensive snaps.

He was the 3rd Safety in 2017 and played 56% of the defensive snaps.

Good Grief..every team in the NFL has this thread and Dallas is not in the top ten of talks. Let it go. of course no team is perfect. it's called salary cap.

TE, we have 3. All questionable.

I'm not concerned with the players as much as their usage. I think Jarwin can be very good as a receiver, but he isn't a blocker, so will he sit a lot while Witten plays as the more all around TE?

This is the best roster since 1995. Maybe that 1996 team that was bounced by the Panthers was better.

I don’t really see many weaknesses. If I had to pick the weak spots it’d be LG (Conner Williams) and SS (Heath - but I think Wilson takes over that spot during the bye week).

And as other mentioned, none of us feel good about the kicker right now.

. I'm thinking we need a third linebacker. I think I like the kid from New England backing up Smith left tackle offense. I still don't know what we have at left guard. Yes tight end upgrade. Center could be a concern if Freddy goes down again. But what team is solid with backups. This is the best I've seen with rotation in years this current Squad we have

I think our biggest weakness is the cornerback safety position. And I really don't even think it's that big of a weakness just the biggest

I don't think you're alone in your concerns. I hope this season settles that issue let the Pass open up the Run
