Yeah, he is light years better than Dak...……...

When the Bears we’re down 10-3 with less than two minutes in the game and backed up inside their own 20, you knew the game was lost for the Bears.

But even the Dak haters have to admit, you put the Cowboys and Dak in that same situation, and you can feel reasonably confident that he’ll drive the team down the field and tie the game.

Dak is clutch. There’s a reason he’s one of the league leaders in game-winning drives. It has been a long time since I knew that I could trust the ball in our QB’s hands when the game is on the line late in the 4th quarter.

Now go get him signed, Jerry!

You should know that you’re considered a joke here.
The only Joke here is you and your Dak-Pals who are selling a player that in reality is nowhere to be found on the field.
GL with that.
Now leave us adults alone to discuss in a mature manner the team we love.[/QUOTE]

I wonder the same thing about a lot of the Dak devotees.

I don’t think Dak sucks. I think Dak is the 13th-15th best QB in the NFL. I think most reasonable people feel the same way. I think there are 8 legitimate franchise QBs that can carry their teams to the Super Bowl: Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Mahomes, Wilson, Roethlisberger, Rivers, Ryan.

The Dak “hater” part might come in where I’d take several guys not in the franchise QB category over Dak if I had to hitch my wagon to one: Wentz, Watson, Mayfield, probably Darnold.

The question is whether to make the 13-15th best QB in the NFL the highest paid because his contract is up. I know that’s how the NFL works but that’s not necessarily the right move. Do you think the teams of Stafford, Cousins, and Garropolo are Super Bowl contenders after sinking all that money into their mediocre QBs?

It's not just about the QBs. The Lions don't suck because how much they pay Stafford, they suck because they have bad/mediocre drafts and struggle assembling a better complete team. Vikings can be considered contenders, last season they were hit with injuries and an OC that though he was the smartest guy in the stadium. Yet to be seen with Jimmy G, but they are in the process in assembling a better team and they had a ton of money to spend after paying him.

Roth couldn't carry his team to a playoff bearth last season. Brees teams were 7-9, 3 straight seasons, he wasn't carrying them to a playoff bearth, much less a Superbowl bearth until they started to fix their OL, defense and had a couple of great drafts. Rivers has been to one Superbowl, well over a decade ago, he's not "carrying" them anywhere. Ryan "carried" his team to a 7-9 record last season.

It's more about the other 52 players on the team, not just 1 guy.

Take out his gaudy win percentage and his stellar history against the NFC East.

Dak has had 8 fourth quarter comebacks and 14 game-winning drives.

Dak has 85 career touchdowns and only 25 interceptions - that’s less INTs than Wentz in 8 more games and less INTs than Geoff in 10 more games.

Dak Prescott is the first Cowboys quarterback to ever pass for 3,000 yards and at least 20 touchdowns in each of his first three seasons.

I could go on and on but it has been debated endlessly here.

Really @kumizi ? You’d take Wentz and his injury history over Dak? What else does the kid have to do to win you over? Seriously?

Tell you what, before you label him as the “15th best quarterback”, go ahead and respond to this thread in January 2020.

This is Dak’s fourth year, traditionally the make or break year for quarterbacks. He has an innovative offensive coordinator now and I love Kitna as his QB coach. I think he’s going to change your mind.

Yeah, Dak is “nowhere to be found on the field.”

That makes so much sense. Well said!

I was so wrong to call you a brain-dead buffoon before.

LOL... somebody clearly has no idea what a game winning drive is defined as. Or would you care to tell us how many times Dak has went 86 yards with less than two minutes and one TO left for the TD?

“Your”?

No, Brain-Dead Pappy. The correct term would’ve been “you’re.”

If you had a 3rd grade education, you would’ve known that.

If I’m 12 years old, then a 12-year-old just exposed you as an uneducated troglodyte.

Great, so then maybe you can tell us how many of them were like the situation Trubisky faced tonight and not the Dak special variety where he’s handing off with 14 minutes left in the 4th quarter.

How about Dak’s game against the Eagles last December where he threw for 240 yards and 3 TDs during the 4th quarter and OT to win the game and ultimately another division title?

The man is clutch.

Is this some kind of weird troll? The Cowboys never trailed in that game. Try again... the answer is a nice, round number.

Why would I do? I didn’t say that to begin with.

But Dak’s history in the clutch is extremely impressive. He comes through time and time again in crunch time. You’re lying if you say otherwise.
