Remember Greg Hardy slapping a clip board out of a coaches hand and spazzing on the sidelines? I’ll never forget the look kn garrets face as he rubbed his hand over his head and did nothing like a soulless clown. Garrett was ******** bricks
Then coaches and players excused it as passion after the game. The whole thing was just one:facepalm: after another:facepalm:

Gronk not giving a clear answer to the NFL pretty much sets up that he will return.
I don't know about that. Have you taken a look at him recently?

He is doing that miracle shrink thing that offensive linemen's bodies do as soon as they retire.

If he comes back, it is not this year. He has to roid up, ahem, lift some weights for an off season.

So, Antonio Brown signs a contract with the Patriots about TWO HOURS after being cut by the Raiders? Yeah... I smell some bullcrap. This screams of tampering, but Belichick and the Patriots will again escape any punishment for wrong doing.

Funny how Brown is standing in front of his Raider teammates with team captains at his side, begging forgiveness for his behavior. Then later that night posts on social media that he wants his release? I wonder who called him and said the Patriots would sign him if he could force his way out of Oakland. Belichick? Kraft? Maybe Brady himself. We all know how his phones disappear if any questions arise.

Makes you wonder if this wasn't the plan all along. You KNOW that the Steelers would never have traded him to a playoff rival like the Patriots. But the Raiders? Not much of a threat. So Brown plays the long game, and ends up as a Patriot anyway.
All this does is set precedent for other meatheads that don't like their current contract/team. Act like a complete arsehole, get your release, and sign with whoever you like almost immediately. The league should step in and suspend his *** for conduct detrimental to the league. And they actually mighty have. If he'd have signed anywhere else. But now that he's a Patriot? ~crickets~

Laughable. This saga has been going on for weeks. Im sure that the Patriots were chomping at the bit in case something happened. They have been looking for pass catchers ever since Gronk retired. What, did you think they were going to wait around a day after he was released? They jumped all over it like a GREAT organization should. They were prepared, offered him big money and Im sure he was jumping for Joy.

If Brady and the Pats come calling are you going to sign with someone else? Not a chance.

Now if you want to say that Brown purposefully provoked the Raiders in order to get his full release then I completely agree on that.

Yeah, the drama of Brown and the Raiders has been going on for weeks. But there is no way any other team could be involved while he was a member of the Raiders. You trying to tell us that they hammered out the details of his contract in less than a couple hours? Bullshot. There is no way the wording of a contract could be not only agreed upon with all parties involved, but written up and signed inside of a couple hours of his release. Or even agreed upon in principle.

This would only be possible if there were previous provisions discussed. Which would be... That's right. Tampering.

No doubt.

Texted the same thing to a bunch of NFL fans.

You can feel it, see it, and taste it.

Yeah if probably anyone else would have signed him we'd be laughing at it but when it's the Patriots you just assume it's going to work out and they just stole a great player.

--------If the Cowboys make this move, the media would destroy them. Patriots will get a pass as usual.

Wanted to race home and post this same thought, at the time I heard the news. Not only would we get destroyed, the league and National Media would be crying out for an investigation. I'm guessing that The Goon would have come up with "some reason" to have him sit 4-6 games....for being "a detriment of some kind".....BTW, if we weren't saddled with The Clapping Carrot and had a coach with some real ballz, I'm pretty certain Jerry would have went after him....he knows damn well that he would be made to look like a P.

They've dealt with numerous problematic players who, all of a sudden, aren't a problem anymore.

That's something to admire. People behave on the Pats.

You sound pretty jealous
