That would be you honey. You brought up "1-0!?!?!?!?" as if that justified anything. Newsflash, cutie pie, it doesn't.

Clearly you "don't care", that's why you're all over this thread trying to make excuses about it. Nothing says "don't care" like 20 posts. You're just not bright enough to realize that, are you?

Now you're sweet too? I don't roll like that. It won't matter one bit what they do with him. They're 1-0 without him. But you keep crying
Annabel.

Not even then. He had 2 sacks in the playoffs his rookie year once he got healthy, including the game sealing play in the playoff win. This nonsense about him needing 3 years is revisionist history hogwash.

He didn't need two years. He had 8 sacks in 12 games his 2nd year. First year was pretty much a wash out because of injury.

The first year he got to play he showed promise.

And regardless, he never looked as bad as Taco. Never.

And you keep "crying" that it's "big whoop...no big deal". Yeah, just another 1st round pick wasted. "No big deal". Just another guy you got nothing out of "no big deal". A guy you took rather than a Pro Bowl pass rusher. "No big deal".

Another lesson learned. When they force a pick for need, like they did with Taco, it usually ends up blowing up on them.

I think they picked Hill too when there were a few other kids higher rated on board.

I'm handling the truth. Far better than SuperFan #99 here trying to sugarcoat it.

Thread after thread about what a waste Taco has been. When was it that D-Law started showing promise? Ya his 3rd year, until then he was a bust and injury prone. Now he is the $20 million dollar man. Say what you want, the kid showed up in the pre-season. Now there is a thread comparing him to Bobbie Carpenter. How about we wait and see if he shows up this season. They trade him and he blows it up there will be thread after thread on how the FO screwed up by trading him!

Dlaw had 8 sacks in year 2 but year 3 the he had none due to being injured. I would like to seeh taco plays on sunday before trading him. We likely lose 3-4 guys along the DL next year.

The old man just needs to go. All of this talk about what a great job he does with defensive linemen is just that - talk. The results on Sunday never measure up to the talk.

The last two high draft assets this team used in the defensive line sit next to one another on the bench. And some fans try to excuse that.

Inactive today again. I don’t like this and especially if he has improved and JG is holding him out when he could play better than what we have on that side. He must have punched JJ wife or drank his Johnny walker.

If trade rumors are true, I'm pretty sure they are not letting him go near the field to risk injury.

It was not just a pick for need. It was a pick made based on perceived scheme fit over pure talent.

I understand the disappointment in Taco. This is the year he should show what he has. I don't hold it against him. He is what he is. The FO took a chance on his measurables and it looks like it didn't pay off. At least we hit on 3 very good to good DBs in that draft.

Worst of all? Watt would have been an ideal RDE. Instead we trot Crawford out there to get zero pass rush, or wait for Randy Gregory to put down the pipe. Or trade for Robert Quinn, and now wait to see if he can bail us out.

So yeah, Pro Bowler or bust? We chose bust.

Taco had a very good preseason but that doesn't seem to matter once the regular season starts like it should. He has earned a chance to prove himself this season and yet, thus far he has been denied that opportunity. Seems to me the FO is toying with the man's career like they just wanted to get that good preseason on tape so other teams could see it and then they could shop him around to other teams during the regular season. Doesn't seem fair to me but if this is the FO's game then I hope we get something good for him and I wish him all the luck on his next team.

What? Doesn't seem fair? Okay creampuff, but guess what? They own his contract...they can do whatever they want with it. They're the ones paying HIM millions of dollars not the other way around. They have no obligation to this kid whatsoever especially to one who's attitude sucks and isn't willing to work hard.
Look how we treat our players who care and act right...we treat them good. I agree we should wait to see what happens with him that DE's take time to develop in this league but him doing well in preseason after two years of stinking up the joint and giving piss poor effort doesn't mean he deserves anything after a couple preseason games.

That is not standard practice in the regular season when a team shops someone. Preseason, sure. But when you are trying to win football games, you are putting out your best talent that can help you win, not playing a coy game where you have a player you want to move and don't want to risk injury.

Did the Raiders bury Amari Cooper until he was traded? No.

Did the Jaguars deactivate Dante Fowler before he was moved? No.

Did the Lions do the same with Golden Tate? No.

No matter how we feel about our DL, the fact that he cannot even make the cut to be active does not help his stock. In fact, it hurts it.

Plain and simple, he's not even good enough to get a jersey on Sunday. If his own team does not trust him to even dress to be a fourth end, how is it logical to believe that other teams want him?

I think what happened was the team told him his attitude was going to get him cut but there was a chance to be traded but he had an awesome opportunity in the preseason to show that he deserved on an nfl roster
