I don't think there was consensus amongst the scouts. I mean the head of the scouting dept wanted Taco.
that's correct. To your point, Will McClay gets things right much more than not. I find it funny folks wanna criticize things when we miss...the guy is a damn guru. Dunno where we would be without him. We may have one of THE BEST scouting depts. in the league...AND YES..our front office is top 5. I SAID IT. Not a fan of Jerry...but Stevie and the others are pretty darn good over the last few years. Now only if we could get the HC to pull his head outta his arse.

For what?...who wants a guy that has done nothing and can’t even make the active roster.
Teams trade for players that are gameday inactives all the time. That special kind of talent is desirable all over the league.

Besides, this is just a case where we are so loaded at the position it is just a numbers game. Or something.

To the complainers, you all want some wHine with that?
THANK YOU!!! my thoughts as well. SOME think this is a utopia where we never miss on a pick. Or Marinelli just sucks, truth is..he may not be great, but hes pretty solid.Players need to perform.

no its not I don't think. I think its just that we are loaded at that position. As it is we cant get everyone into the DE rotation. Hyder is a guy we want to get more playing time. We are struggling to get everyone on the field. Taco will get a chance somewhere else. I think Dallas is trying to be fair with him...keeping him healthy for his own good and the teams. I need to see Hyder show out big today. Against the skins oline,I think he and Dlaw can wreck them.
That is some crazy sunshine you pumped.

I need to terminate an employee next week for production. Maybe you can come help blow the same sunshine up his butt on his way out the door.

Please turn those two into Minkah Fitzpatrick somehow.. lol
I like Minkah, but lets ask...why id Miami giving up on one of their best players? Do they know something we don't? ALSO...will this hurt Donovan Wilson getting playing time? I think we don't need Minkah...we already have tons of talent and depth. UNLESS we are thinking about trading Byron Jones, this makes little sense.

He wants out cause they want him to be able to play 6 positions. And he doesn't care for the SS role.

He showed last year hes good in the slot. Same spot he played at Alabama

Before people freak out about the drafting, Dallas took the following players in 2016, 2017 and 2018: Zeke, Dak, Jaylon, Collins, Brown, LVE, Awuzie, Lewis, Woods, Williams and Gallup. Half the dam team was drafted recently. There are going to be misses but Dallas' batting average has been fantastic lately.

Because Miami is stupid that is why.

We don’t even know if we can afford Byron because he will probably be the highest paid Corner in football this offseason and the others have contracts running out.

Dallas will be drafting a DB probably next year regardless.

Xavier Woods contract is coming up pretty soon too I believe.

You trade for Minkah and you get a blue chip talent at DB on the 2nd year of a rookie deal. It’s a no brainer really.

Dorance JAG? No way we can say that. Its way too early. In fact, when hes on the field, hes been disruptive. We are backlogged to a point where he cant get on the field enough...I would love to see him get more snaps. Same with Hyder. Taco is a goner.

When I think of all the energy I've put into positive post about these two, this leaves me both exhausted and disappointed:facepalm:

Our drafting is about as good as it gets but we need to do a better job with the d line.

With that said the use of Marijuana has took out half of our real talent.

hey, good take. You may be right. I hadn't thought of that. I guess dealing with the dysfunctional fins makes me leary. I don't trust that organization. I am always cautious. lol
