Our defense has given up 24 points outside of garbage time

Can we really get some perspective on this defense? I have never seen anyone complain so much about a defense that isn't really giving up that many points. Can they show some improvement, sure, but that is true of about any defense in the league so far. Let's stop being chicken littles about this.

Sure, they haven't given up huge plays, but they also haven't provided reliable resistance

If they play the way they have against better QB's with better weapons, they will give up points. No pressure and no plays in the ball

We've been playing trash teams and trash offenses and they've been pushed around both games. Bend but don't break won't cut it when we actually start playing the better teams.

Didn't one of those teams put up 27 against the Eagles last week? Seem to remember that happening.

They look suspect against two bad offenses. They will look better next week but it will get difficult from there on out. Sacks and turnovers are severely lacking which will be bad against the elite QB’s coming up.

The defense needs to be addressed sooner than later because it is not playoff caliber at this time.

They have turnovers and sacks this season. Not at the rate you want but "no" sacks or turnovers is false

They got hot for one half and exposed a team with secondary issues. Then they folded

I think were over reacting a bit. Gotta look at the context of the defense.

The secondary challenges everything. They are good.
Linebackers still all over the place. The dline will get pressure, especially when we get some depth back soon.

Tackling is the biggest issue in my eyes, and thats a product of not having a pre season.
