Vernon Davis running a 4.38 at ~254 pounds is in the debate. 33 reps on bench (2 less than Donald, 1 less than JJ Watt), 42" vertical, 4.17 short shuttle.

Must be nice
Yes, he is definitely near the top in all time freak athletes in the nfl; although Bo Jackson's 4.13 at 227 pounds is hard to beat.

I would be curious to see what Bo benched. I still have vivid memories of him snapping baseball bats like twigs.

OL Terron Armstead ran a 4.71 at 306 pounds.

I had in mind an OL has since ran in the 4.6x range.

Who would you say is the fastest Cowboy in history?
Bob Hayes? Deion Sanders? Someone else?

Below I'll link to the greatest *demonstration* of speed in NFL history. He scored the fastest touchdown. 3 seconds into the game. 14:57 into the first quarter and he had a touchdown. How is that possible? Do you know his name and the legend of his purported 40 time?

As for most impressive 40 time in NFL history I'm gonna throw you boys a curve.
There is one well known lineman who weighs in at 284 pounds. He ran a 4.69 at the combine. Do you know his name? I'll give you a clue: the word impressive is an understatement to everything he does on a football field.

Hayes looks lighting fast in this video. They have him ranked as #5. Deion is #3. Bo is #2. Green #1

Terrence Newman wore the number 41 for a reason.

But I'm about to run a 4.1 if this rain keeps up. We are getting pounded in Beaumont.

Hays won a gold in the Olympics, yet these arse clowns at NFL Network gave the fastest player title to Green of Wash.

OP asking for fastest Cowboy. We only wish Donald was a Cowboy.
Several years ago I created what I called the Forty Freak Stat. It was a calculation to show a relative measure of forty times depending on weight. It was based on a 200 pound player running a 4.4 forty and a 300 pound player running a 5.0 forty. A 200 pound player running a 4.3 forty or a 300 pound player running a 4.9 forty would have a Forty Freak measurement of 0.1 because were 0.1 seconds faster than the baseline.

I would post lists of player forty times and list their Forty Freak time. Then it was easy to see how a 250 pound player compared to a 200 or 300 pound player. It was also easy to plot the Forty Freak times in a spreadsheet chart where most points would be just above or below the line from 200 to 300 pounds but players like the ones discussed in this thread would be way off the default plot line.

Green caught EVERYONE from behind. Would have been a gold medalist easily. Didn't he win fastest NFL player like 86 times?!

I'm embarrassed to say one of my firsts posts on a Cowboys forum was about Randal Williams.

I had an Al Davis mindset and thought Randal Williams was going to actually be good lol.
