At what point would you give Moore a raise?

i would do it by week 9 if the results continue.
may be give him 95% of garrett's salary?
want to let the other teams that jerry will not let anyone steal him.
Has an NFL coach ever received an in-season raise without a job title change?

Which one do you think would make Garrett look more pathetic?

A. Moore coming in, installing his own new offense and having this kind of success

OR

B. Moore coming in and running Garretts own offense and running it 100 times better than Garrett ever could

no, if things continue, moore will be a hot commodity.
why not preempt other teams trying to poach him.

Teams can't contact him during the season about a job.

He can only take a Head Coaching job while under contract. I'm certain he got at least 3 years on a contract when he took the OC job.

McVay was a similar age when hired as the Rams HC but he had 9 year of coaching experience including 3 as the Skins OC.

I don't know if Kellen Moore would want an HC job in 2020, especially if the OC pay from the Cowboys is similar.

Garrett's contract is up after the season. If Moore really wants an HC job then give him the Cowboys HC job.

If he really wants an HC job then paying him more as OC won"t keep him from taking an HC job if he was offered one.

If he prefers to be a highly paid OC then they can bump his pay at the end of the season or after another team makes a request to interview him.

The Cowboys are not going to change Moore's pay in the middle of the season similar to how they're not going to switch to a 7-4 defense.

Well, hell, you just destroyed my thoughts re HC, McVay and Garrett.

If Dallas does well, Garrett and KM will be back. If Dallas does poorly, both are out the door.

I guess next time I'll need to put on my tin foil hat to prevent my brainwaves from transmitting into the universe.

As soon as he wants one. And I am all for a preemptive strike. Maybe he has already let it be known that he wants to be here for some time and if so great. But otherwise, he is exactly what every team wants, a young innovative genius mind. And they are as rare as it gets and we have one, so lets keep him and recognize his value. He is young, but not really, he has been writing up plays for more than a decade, back to his high school days. So yea, do whatever is necessary to keep Kellen around.

I take it as a good sign that our opponents are viewed as weak. That is the mark of greatness. Making it look easy. We are going to be favored in 14 or 15 of our games. Not because everyone else is bad, but because we are already being seen as dominant. This is fun!
