Lol. With 12 games remaining, that would be 24 sacks (or more, since you said minimum). That’s a new record. Unrealistic. So sad.

play a great team for 2 halves not one half against a bad one which is 3 games in row now and go back to the rams game and theres for sure an issue with this defense.

no sugar coating..they in all years different era have let us down in the payoffs way too many times..

I am not concerned with defense of past years. just this year.

Defense has been average or below average since we reinstated the 4-3 base defense, and Monte Kiffin/Ron Marinelli have been running the D since.

most of us expected 85 bears or leigon of boom and thats just not us we are a finesse defense

the biggest issue i see is Smith.....he looks like he regressed and im hoping its just early season rust

There's merit to your point.

The fact is points-per-drive are up, up, up across the league.

The NFL does not want defenses to dominate and everything is done to reduce the possibility of that.

In order:

Let’s hope Lawrence is currently playing at only 70-80%. Otherwise, that contract is trouble.

Byron and Chidobe can cover but they have zero ball skills. Chidobe especially gives up Aton of contested catches.

LVE looks decent, not great. Jaylon looks average. These two need to be great.

The likelihood of one our safeties creating a turnover is almost 0.
