No question I think Dak is a better complete QB but in Wentz defense so far this year, he doesn't have a full deck. Read a tweet yesterday that his three WRs for the game had a total 5 starts and it showed. No real RB and the OL is playing average.

The asst coaches that were instrumental in their super bowl win are no longer with the team which has exposed Peterson's mediocrity as a coach......nice guy but in over his head.

I was watching Speak for Yourself earlier and they were saying there might be something rotten in Denmark over there with Carson Wentz. Maybe his teammates aren't too fond of him. But this is all alleged.

I hope it's true tho.

I heard that they said that the on one of the other sports talk shows, they were talking about Dak and Wentz. And one of them stated how Dak can get his team to want to play for him, but that Wentz can't get his team to play for him for some reason and they put up more effort when Foles was the QB.

I hate your definition of talent, which I am assuming means throwing ability. Throwing ability is one type of talent, but there are many types of talents. Leadership, performance under pressure (late game situations), durability, legs, these are all talents too.

Its like you can have a high IQ and be a social idiot. There are many types of talents.
This is the reason that Madden has a 100 ratings for a qb, not just arm strength haha

I recall Max Kellerman expressing similar thoughts on First Take. It's quite interesting and I've never heard about until yesterday.

I absolutely hate everything Eagles, and that includes their ginger dufus QB.

That said, I saw the final quarter of their last two losses, and those games should have both been won based on Wentz’s heroics, avoiding sacks, finding receivers, throwing from his knees with defenders draped over him, still hitting guys in the hands, only to see passes dropped.

It’s Philly, so screw Wentz...couldn’t happen to any QB to give me more pleasure, but at crunch time, he’s delivering....that’s a fact.

Wentz literally had 15 seconds to scan the field and sat there staring at the left side. Pulled it down, then went looking to the left side AGAIN!. Only throws it right at the last second to get rid of it.

Pathetic and summarizes what I have been saying about him since his rookie year, doesn't go through his progressions.

It is VERY obvious that Frank Reich was the real brains behind that operation and not the fat headed nose breather.

I have never seen players run that wide open for the entire season. I said it during the year that year and never waivered. The theory was proven when Foles came in and won the super bowl.

The way the Eagles responded with Foles when he was there supports Speak For Yourself's assessment.

If there is any truth to this, then things will only get worse between Wentz and his teammates if the Eagles go on a losing streak. I looked up the video that you were talking about and it is an interesting take.

Honestly, this isn't the first time I've heard that........there was talk last year how teammates played harder for Foles cause he got ALL players involved in the offense instead of focusing on TEs. Remember his TE Ertz (ms) led the league in catches and targets last year. That talk supposedly made its way to the locker room, causing a bit of tension among teammates.

Whats so funny is listening to the Dak haters make excuses for Wentz...... His receivers are hurt, his OL isn't blocking, his RBs fumble, his team can't catch, his defense is terrible...... Always an excuse for this chump but yet turn around and say Dak is trash when he had less talent..... OL gives up 56 sacks in a season its on Dak, Dak didn't throw 500 yards and 5 TDs with Swaim/Hurns/Thompson as his targets then Dak is trash. It goes on and on, excuses for one and none for the other.

Any one that would pick Wentz over Dak is foolish and has a bias.

Jackson wasn't on the team last year and the excuse was because Wentz was injured. Jeffery is the only receiver missing. Dak was missing Gallup and he still won and moved the ball.

I am somebody who wanted the cowboys to draft Wentz, before the eagles traded up and it was clear they would be drafting him.

I think Wentz is a good QB.

Those two things being said. Dak has been the better QB since coming into the league. This has been evident since their rookie seasons. Yes Dak has his slump where he played like crap and Wentz played very well with a super bowl caliber roster around him.

But Dak has just been better. The numbers say that. The results win/loss show that. And it’s CLEAR that Dak has been better in game deciding situations. Just watch the games AND look at the numbers from those kind of situations. Dak has clearly and without question been the better player in those situations, than wentz has been.

So yes. Wentz is a good QB. Very good even if he can stay healthy.

But Dak has also been a very good QB overall, except his slump. And if it’s the 4th quarter and the game is on the line, it’s not even close as to who is better. It’s Dak.

Initially I thought that Wentz was the superior of the two, but since his injury against the Rams in they’re championship year, he hasn’t been the same. Until this year, I wouldn’t have compared them. But it seems like Dak is making better decisions(mostly due to Kellen’s offensive scheme), and is throwing with more authority. Personally, I think they are ships passing in the night in terms of they’re growth.

im not going to read all these posts but lime many ridiculous threads that spiral out of control with speculation and stats to fit narratives..

theres no issue with wentz other then hes missing his top two WRs and his left tackle and backup linemen, the coaches arent using the run game well, and his backup wrs are dropping passes..

Lets take away Gallup, Cooper, Tsmith and lets just use Cwill for arguments sake even though most here dont value him, have the backups drop daks passes and the coaches go pass happy and dont use zeke..

Im betting wed be 1-2 or 0-3 and all the talk about Daks average all come back..it happened when zeke was suspended Tsmith out Chaz playing bad , happened when we were 3-5 last year..it HAPPENS

put Wentz on this team we are 3-0 and hes having agreat year..

is wentz better then dak or dak better then Wentz, thats subjective...they are both young QBs that are both really good..

situations eb and flow and dak had his share and now wentz is going through it..

ive said this many times IMO Goff Wentz and Dak all seem to be in a debate for life now, I say its coin flip.. given the same situations im betting they all have similar results..

Wentzs' number are not bad, his team around him are playing poorly. that can change quickly like it did for us last year..

and NO I dot think theres conspiracy with teammates not blocking or performing for Wentz, very stupid to think so..
