As much as I like Jaylon, he's looked really off this season. I don't think I've ever seen a linebacker get so much praise, while missing so many open field tackles. He looks like he's favoring his good leg and overextending every angle.

Even on the forced fumble, he overextended, slipped, and barely got a finger on the ball. He can run fast in straight lines, & pass rush, but his lateral movement is just so off.. It's obvious his dropfoot is still an issue.

He is taking bad angles. Not sure how much of that is fixable and how much is just instincts. I thought contract was premature but Jerry wanted to send message that character & being company guy goes long way on this team.

8 solo tackles and 2 assists isn't exactly a bad game.

Unless the tackles and assists are routinely happening 5 to 7 yards downfield.

...though not all Jaylon's fault, some of it has to due with the meak run defense play calls on 1st downs.

We allowed 255 yds to wash and 283 to Miami. That 2 game average would be good for second in the NFL. So no, we are not allowing way too many yards to these bad teams. More importantly we are only allowing 14.7 ppg. With that said, there are stiffer challenges on the horizon, but you incorrect in stating we are giving up too many yards.
they arent clicking..those are bad teams and NY counts you dont kick those stats under the carpoet..

better teams ahead..be concerned, VERY Concerned..

Instead of pretending or arguing about what you said or didn't say I will just post your exact words from your original post that started this unfortunate thread.

Even on the forced fumble, he overextended, slipped, and barely got a finger on the ball. He can run fast in straight lines, & pass rush, but his lateral movement is just so off.. It's obvious his dropfoot is still an issue.

Lets forget where you work. I always get a kick out of a kid trying to flex. Plus I'm sure when you are ringing people up at work you have a lot of mental down time to think about football or playing Madden.
What do you know about dropfoot? He was playing at an all pro level last season. So how could his dropfoot still be an issue this year when it wasnt last year? Are you suggesting that he was never healed from the drop foot or are you saying the nerve must have regressed and quit on him?

You sound like a typical kid who has not had any real experiences with women. Only a naive kid without any real life relationship experience would speak this way. Something you may learn with experience....Coming from a man with 3 kids and more experience than I can even remember.....This idea of getting "action" is lame. When you grow up and realize getting "action" is as easy as brushing your teeth, you will look back on the younger version of yourself and wonder what you were thinking.

lol You're lol getting lol this lol dude lol all lol riled lol up lol but lol you lol need lol to lol stop lol. I lol can't lol take lol reading lol another lol one lol of lol his lol replies.

Relax bruh
Our fans are now nitpicking at 3-0 while scoring 30-plus every game, and opponents scoring in garbage time minus yesterday’s game. Typical!

Hell, we should be perfect!

And a forced fumble.

I dont think jaylon is off to a great start, but to me the greater concern is LVE. He's not had - at least yet- the 2nd year jump I'd hoped. And that is concerning, because I bough his Jersey, ******!

He had the same issues the last 2 years here. This isn't a big surprise.

The whole defense looks like they took a step back. I remember them looking crisp and just shutting things down last year. This year, there is zero pressure on the qb and the secondary is getting smoked... not sure what happened exactly

Context is key. Middle linebackers are gonna get their tackles regardless. Whether it's for loss or 5-10 yards past the line of scrimmage.

My point is his lateral movement looks like it did pre-2018. Dude is slippin & sliding all over the place.

Exactly.

Folks are missing the point if they’re talking about scheme or the play of our d-line. There’s a point where a defender has to make the play in front of him. Jaylon has been struggling with that.
