Witten TDs should be Jarwin’s

Why do you hate Witten? That's got to be the most crazeee post I've ever seen.

I appreciate what Witten does but why not throw those balls to Jarwin who can do something AFTER the catch?

Because no run after the catch has been required on Witten's TD catches?

I should have changed the thread Title. Im not talking about just scoring but catching the ball in general. The YAC would be much better with Jarwin.

Am I the only one that thinks Jarwin should be getting these TD tosses in the redzone instead of Witten? Witten runs about a 6 second forty and Jarwin is said to be a natural athletic freak. I mean, get Jarwin going and keep him going. We need someone who can run after the catch. Dallas did Witten a favor by letting him come back. WE DON"T NEED HIM! I love Witten but come playoff time I want Jarwin catching those balls. They need to get Jarwin more involved in this offense! Get him ready for the post season. I guess what i'm trying to say is if Kellen Moore would start targeting Jarwin more he could possibly be one of the leagues best TE's. I hate to sound like i'm bashing on Witten but good God he can't run. How many teams would have let him come back? Not many ...rant over

its about getting separation more than speed. true that Witten is no longer a down field threat, but he has the skills to get separation and set up the defenders that allows him to get those TDs. and in the end, does it matter who gets the TDs? if he is good in short area, then why not use him? Jarwin seemingly is got more deep speed. he is still green and still learning nuances of football. a freak athlete doesn't equal a good football player.....

I don't care who catches them, as long as we score TDs.....

Because Jarwin does not block as well and probably is not on goal line formations with two TE.

You are full of it, this past game had a ball thrown under the sticks and muscled this way for the 1st, He had a 33 yard gain bailing out Dak on a busted play. I like Jarwin but there is no reason to belittle Witten and the job he does including blocking which Jarwin is not good at. I get it you don't want him here but he is and is doing what is asked of him. Stupid comments that he falls downs only tells me you don't pay attention to the game

Maybe Jarwin isnt as good as you think he is.

He is athletic. But he isnt a freak athlete. He is well below a similar type player in Evan Engram athletically

Your problem is that your initially premise is the fact that Witten is taking away Jarwin's touchdowns. He doesn't have to run AFTER the catch if he's in the end zone or near the end zone already.
Now if you had said, you'd like to see Jarwin in as we march up the field because he gives us more YAC potential, that would be a different argument. But your initial framing for your point invited criticism.

jarwin had his opportunities last game and didn't do too hot. Why you mad at witten for being better than jarwin? Maybe jarwin should step up his game so witten can come off the field more. Not sure you actually watched any of the games this year but witten is playing very well. Wittens 1st catch wasn't by design, it came when they play broke down and he ran for more yards which you say he cant do...but he did. Vs Miami witten caught 3 of 4 passes 54yards while jarwin caught 1 of 3 or 3 yards but you think that's better? Any real fan would be saying play the guy getting things done, play the guy making the catches, play the guy who is helping us win.

and Dallas has packages that include Jarwin. What hurts Jarwin is he is more of a receiver than a TE, a TE job is more than just going out for passes it involves blocking often DE\OLB and Jarwin has never shown the ability to hold his ground, he tends to get pushed back into the running lane.

Jarwin made a bone-headed play in the middle of the game with that illegal contact call. On the other hand, comparing the two; I believe Jarwin is faster and more athletic than Witten but Witten has way better hands, route-running, and the ability to get YAC
