I'm a Cowboys fan so I root for the team. I like Dak. He stepped into a horrible situation and significantly outplayed his contract while being a class act. I dislike Zeke. He makes it hard to root for him and the only reason I do is because he wears the star and he's on my fantasy keeper league team. I'd hate him if he were on any other team.

He's far from being a diva like Odel, AB, ect. If it was that bad, I'd probably dislike him too. He's made some bad decisions, but he still produces, doesn't talk too much, and gets the job done

Almost all of the “shade” I see thrown at Zeke was revolving around his contract and his holdout. It’s not often I see fans throw “shade” at Zeke simply for the purpose of defending Dak.

It's just from the same 5-10 people I've seen. Saying he can't break tackles, slow, not worth money, ect. Same type of stupid rhetoric Dak haters trying using on Dak.

I've loved the Cowboys by my whole life, but I've never worshiped Jerry, the FO, or coaches unless they were Landry or JJ. I mean, I acknowledge what Jerry did, I just don't have fandom for him lol.

Love me some Dak. Love me some Zeke. Still believe Zeke should/could have waited until next year to demand a bigger new contract. By Zeke holding out with 2 years still left on his contract, that truly bothered me. Zeke is very good, top 5 easily, but he shouldn't have gotten paid top overall pay, even though I'm glad the Cowboys can break off that new contract after 3 years without much penalty to the team's salary cap. I feel the same way towards Dak. We all know why he refuses to sign a new contract right now. It's clear he is biding time to showcase his newly improved skills on the field, thus enabling him to demand top overall position pay. Grrr! This is where I side with the team over any player because we all know one has to take into account how such demands will affect the team's salary cap, thus affect the team in the near future about keeping together a playoffs deep capable team.

The players are looking out for themselves. The team has to look out for itself as well. Glad to have Dak and Zeke hopefully for many years to come, but players come and go. Team always comes first with me.

I'm a pretty misanthropic person, but I'm gonna wait and see what kind of demands Dak makes before I form an opinion.

Sadly, and I know it’s a bad trait, #1 means if Dak or Zeke ever go to another team, they are then dead to me except when they play against an NFC East rival.

I was the biggest Calvin Hill fan in the world. I hated winning the SB with Duane Thomas replacing Hill as the lead runner. But when Calvin Hill started hurdling tacklers, all knees and elbows, as a Commander, he was dead to me except vs NY or Philly.
