I remember him well, I was a lurker there much like I have been here for 14 years.

I enjoy reading the comments much more than joining in. Lotsa good folks here and the same was for The Ranch.

Winning the NFC East twice is not that great of an accomplishment, considering how weak the East has been. The Commanders and Giants have been in disarray, and the year the Cowboys were 13-3 so were the Eagles.
The 9-7 season was really another one of Garrett's 8-8 seasons, with the ninth win coming after the Cowboys were already 8-8.
Make no mistake- the Cowboys should have gone further in Dak's first season, and keeping Romo on the bench after he healed was a colossal mistake.
Last season was okay.
The one thing that can be said is that the Cowboys are finally beating the teams they are supposed to beat- and that is a real accomplishment.
This season has been tougher than some will credit the Cowboys with. The Commanders finally have a quarterback, but no defense. Still, it was an impressive win. And the Giants came to play.
But the rest of the schedule will tell if Dak and the Cowboys have taken the next step.

I wouldn't be surprised if Dak's completion percentage dips incrementally with the Packers, Rams, Vikings and Patriots of the NFL but there'll always be the other teams with lesser defenses that will allow him to sustain a high completion rate. I'm reasonably confident that his ongoing success will continue to be well received. He's apparently come too far in his development for it not to, imho.

Bullflop, I'm thinking that Dallas finally has an offense that is built for the long haul...they'll hang in there, and through black 'n blue December.

Yes, the multiple user id concept happened often. I recall Floaty using multiple user names as a way to agree with himself in his threads. It was actually great comedy.

When it moved from Fox it started dying then, and now Fish has moved it again and it’s under another name, so it’s safe to say the Ranch is dead.

The defense has to stop the run & get turnovers. Dak isn't the weak link.

As for the NFC East is weak, well the Eagles won the Superbowl two years ago. They made it to the playoffs last year. So saying that Dak has been good because of a weak division is nothing more than a weak argument.

See? This is what you can get used to. They misrepresent the history and I've seen them post false statistics- hoping no one would check- to further their arguments.
As in this argument- the Eagles were terrible the year before they won the Super Bowl.
The Commanders clinched the NFC East in 2015 with only 7 wins.
The East has had limited success but has been in disarray for 10 years- with Garret repeatedly failing to win the East when only 9 games would've clinched it.

There is no there anymore per se.

It seems that @Jake and @Fastpitch Dad have a better memory of the specifics but I definitely remember some permma-bans until Fisher took over the site and let all trolls return.

I thought @quickccc was a mod there but it must have been someone else.

Like I said it was great comedy there.

Having seen how things got out of control there just makes me appreciate how well administration does here to minimize that type of nonsense.

I'm not a Dak hater. I think he's an outstanding athlete.
But if he had started anywhere but in Dallas he'd already be out of the NFL.

Cowboys have the 14th easiest schedule before the season started, if he hoists the Lombardi Trophy than he will have proven himself. But until then, he’s just another Qb that was ranked #17 in QBR, AFTER all the games played last season........not just after playing 3 of the sorriest defenses in the league

saints defense ranked 27 in the league right now. We shall be watching and judging and Hopefully he can deliver us to the promised land.
