It would have been the same result.

The offense couldn't stop the D and buy Dak time. The time Dak threw it there was one or two Cowboys up field and 4 Saints back there. Kicking it would have been better than a hail mary. Both options were low percentage of completing.
Except if you have an imagination those are not the only two options. Why not try a long screen like KC did against us before halftime that went for a TD? Or think of something other than hey everybody go deep and I'll throw it up in the air.

That's just stupid

This loss is 80% on coaching, specifically Garrett and Moore. They were not prepared and failed to adjust.

Where were the RPO’s, play-action, misdirection, bunch formations, etc? Did Dak even run it once? I think he did one time but it wasn’t planned.

You can say what ya want about the defense but they only gave up 12, that should win every game. They are on the field too much but that is a different argument.

The other 20% is on this overrated offensive line. They got punched in the mouth tonight!

Zeke had his problems but mundane run plays don’t help his cause.

It's been like this for past 10 years with JG. Anytime something works well, we don't see it again.

Well, bad refs, bad offense, unprepared team, too many penalties, and turnovers. That is a recipe for a loss. Also, the defence let the Saints take all but one drive in the 3rd Quarter. We have quite a bit to clean up for the Packers game, so we need to get cracking on that straight away.

With that being said. Our defence did hold the Saints to 12 in NOLA. The Superdome is hard to win in if you're the road team. The rest of our division (except maybe the Giants of late) is rubbish. That's the hardest ground defence we will play until we play Philly. So, we should be able to get Zeke going next game early and often.
you would think our ground game will have success vs green bay's run d.
you would think.

Dang......I wanted to go 19-0. I'll have to settle for 18-1 now.
It doesn’t matter what we go. Garrett can’t win in the olay

VanJaylon was awesome tonight. Lee even showed up. Quinn is everything we dreamed Gregory could be. I think this defense is coming around.

What about the coaching staff. We’ve got the talent. We’ve had the talent a few times over the last 10 years. Did we fire the clapper after the game?

this is a team that will get spanked by the patriots, chiefs or rams. fun team to watch against mediocre competition though
The Patriots might beat us but our defense will give them problems. The Rams gave up 55 to the Buccaneers. If we gave up 30 to them the fans would run Jaylon and DLaw out of town. We can play with top teams.

I think that was more of a fluke play that ended up working and I don't have any imagination with 2 seconds on the clock.

Funny, how it took the Saints less than 2 seconds to run a play before the half and they had time to kick a field goal but we couldn't get guys down the field for one play.

Two conservative but I think we our nursing some injuries. We should have taken some shots with Smith deep.

I meant the coaches having an imagination. Not you.

Anyway it wasn't a fluke play. KC practiced it and drew it up and waited on the perfect opportunity to use it. And it worked

Yes, I know what you meant. lol

I didn't know that about KC. They are really a great team. I like watching their games not as much as the Cowboys but they are young and talented.

There was something quite bizarre about the offensive scheme tonight. Even a Madden whiz-kid like KM knows how to adjust to 8-in-the-box. It's hard to believe he was calling the plays...almost like someone put handcuffs on him. No screens against a stacked-up box...Pollard unused...no designed QB-run plays. It's all rather inexplicable. NO was clearly selling out on the line to pressure Dak & crush the run. You just have to wonder what the thinking/strategy was?
