LMAO...………I just timed that play with a stopwatch three times in a row...…….it takes exactly 4.5 seconds from snap to ball hitting the ground. There were 4 seconds left on the game clock.

That was a free FG the refs just gave to the Saints and we lost by 2...……………...yeah, that call didnt really matter

I actually asked that question myself.... I counted almost 5 Mississippi count from the snap to the incompletion.... While I think that was a poor management on their behalf, we had another half to make up the difference... In fact we had the lead afterwords but surrendered it. Yes the Saints got a give me, but do you blame the refs after crapping on the Saints on the NFCCG or last week? I think they will get the benefit of the doubt on many calls this year. Sadly this was on the time keeper.... Either way this was our loss. Sadly.....

I totally agree but the play in question happened at the end of the 2nd quarter... If we are not strong enough to alter the outcome since then, we are only whining at that point. I could understand if we never got the lead again and lost by 2 points, but that is not the case..... We got beat...... Learn from it and move on.... Many have lost to worse calls, though time keeping is almost a new one to me..... I can only think of one more off the top of my head and that was a forth quarter issue where there was no chance of a comeback....

The stop/starts of the visible gameclocks can be out by a second or more due to the clock operators/systems reaction times.

instead he yelled at them and just walked away. We had two timeouts left that we just left to waste!
