That kinda was important since we lost by 2 points:rolleyes:

I'm sure it was just an honest mistake by the game clock operator wearing a who dat shirt. Yeah, just an honest mistake.;)
the replay at the end of the half actually verified the 2 second appears correct, take of the foil hat.

Guess the league was trying to make up for giving us the win last year

Just had a panthers fan this morning saying we got hosed in the penalties dept. He said Zeke wasn't a fumble and the 2 Offensive PI were bogus calls. Told him chop that up too homecooking calls.

We should have edged that game out. Elliot was down and JG should have challenged that. They gave the saints 3 points.

The referees were atrocious last night, and that goes for both teams. From ticky tack calls to flat out terrible calls, it felt like the zebras were on television more than the players. Neither team could get any momentum because anytime they found some success, a yellow flag was thrown their way. The result was a pretty crappy game to watch, win or lose.

The end of the first half was a flat out joke. Zeke was clearly down, I refuse to listen to other side of the argument. The roughing the passer call was pretty bogus, any logical referee would've seen the defender was shoved from behind by the offensive tackle right into the quarterback. And then oh boy, the TWO SECOND play. What a complete joke that was.

If you want to say that drive cost Dallas the game, go right ahead, I won't stop you. Dallas had another half to compete and Saints got plenty of bad calls, too. But that ridiculous drive put 3 points on the board for NO, and NO won by 2. So....

Went under review due to being a turnover. Can't challenge a reviewed play.
Problem was that they called it a fumble originally. Thought there was enough to overturn but may be biased

The big thing here is that EVERYBODY knows you can't run a play in 2 friggin' seconds, short of spiking the ball.

No, you could clearly see the elbow was down before the ball started slipping in his hands. In fact, his elbow hitting the ground is probably why he couldn't keep them from stripping it. They were pulling his hands away from his body, but the ball wasn't slipping until he was already down. That was a very bad call.

The elbow was down! How is this not talked about more? It was obvious even if I wasn’t a Cowboys fan.

Exactly. That call defies logic. It's not even a matter of "well, you can't tell if the ball was moving", because, yes, you CAN tell the ball is not moving. But, this won't even get talked about on media Monday. At least not outside of DFW.

 Gosh, you are gullible. They just replayed a video of the clock. Put a timer to it. It is virtually impossible to throw a pass under 2 seconds.

He could not challenge it. It was already reviewed.

It was a terrible call. Elbow was obviously down before ball popped out. No question!

LMAO...………I just timed that play with a stopwatch three times in a row...…….it takes exactly 4.5 seconds from snap to ball hitting the ground. There were 4 seconds left on the game clock.

That was a free FG the refs just gave to the Saints and we lost by 2...……………...yeah, that call didnt really matter:facepalm:

Not to quibble too much but the Saints were in FG range at the end of the game before the Bridgewater sack. If the score was 10-9 I believe the Saints would not have dropped back to pass and would have run the ball to set up the FG and run more time off the clock. The score likely would have been 12-10 anyway.

Um the clock didn’t start until he threw the pass go back and watch it. It should start as soon as it’s snapped.
