It takes all the way until 1:07 to really find a play that the yards weren't created for him and made hi first impressive broken tackle.

He's still an excellent back. You don't simply wash away his value and leading the league since his rookie year etc.. Kamara was also stuffed most of the night but of course had a few explosive plays as well. It was a bad game but mostly a matter of scheme and circumstance. If you can't maintain drives/turn the ball over, you can't establish a rhythm.

Leighton Vander Esch is special and just like last year, used his all world talent to keep Kamara's damage relatively in check. Can't do it all alone, though.

Just curious when the last time anyone saw Zeke make a defender miss. All he ever does is put his head down, run into them, and fall forward for 3 yards. Don't get me wrong, the tough and hidden yardage is important, but in games like last night, we need a RB who can make something happen 1v1.

Zeke is not worth the money he is making, and in certain situations Tony Pollard should be on the field over him due to his more dynamic nature and ability to make guys miss in space.

Give me Pollard, a 3rd round RB in next years draft, the first round pick from the trade we make, and 15 million per year in salary for that Pro Bowl DT over Zeke.

Then we can finally get over the mantra that this is a run first team and we have to pound Zeke. This team is better off with Dak leading the charge and an aggressive, spread the wealth type offense.

I think the Dallas o-line is simply over-rated, and I have always felt this dating back to years past. They definitely don't have depth.

The run blocking was atrocious. Zeke rarely had a whole to run through. So I put more of this on the o-line than Zeke.

But the play calling was also atrocious. Too many 1st down runs, not enough play action...pure vanilla all over again. I don't know what happened. The halftime adjustments were OK, coming out in No Huddle, but we need more of that in the 1st quarter to get off to faster starts.

Let's see where this team is after Green Bay next week. I expect better play calling on both sides of the ball. Playing BBDB in critical parts of the game, letting Bridgewater dink and dunk his way to 1st downs when the team needs an immediate stop, it's just a bad strategy. Still very little deception on defense.

Basically, the Cowboys got outcoached and outplayed, EVERY player and coach needs to look themselves in the mirror today. They have to demand more of themselves.
