I don't disagree, but the coaching was not the main reason we lost. Parcells said if you turn the ball over, you will lose the game.

Given how close the game was, more than one factor was decisive on its own.

Turnovers were decisive.
Offensive play calling was decisive. First down passing simply worked. We chose to do what didn't work.

Truth.

I tried but don’t remember a game in JG’s tenure where I thought -wow that game plan was the REASON the team won.

The New Orleans game last year to me was maybe the closest, but personally I just think Dallas talent on defense was superior to New Orleans on offense.
Offensively, which is JG’s supposed strength Dallas had challenges moving the ball just as they did this past weekend vs the Saints.

------I'm not a JG fan but he didnt fumble the ball. If neither happened then we're 4-0.

Maybe....but for a coach of nearly 10 years, he has ZERO cachet with the refs!!! When he protests a bad call, they just kind of pat him on the top of his carrot and tell him to go play with his Bat Utility Belt and be quiet.

Garrett doesn't suit up. He didn't give the ball away.
Spot on. Plays could've been made but our offense didn't make them. I want to put all the blame on Garrett and the coaching, but for this game it's just simply false.

Ok Garrett is responsible for the loss and he is also responsible for 3 out of 4 wins. I expected this game to have been high scoring but the Cowboys and Saints seem to be evenly matched talent wise and that often results into a grind down game. Their defensive front is tangibly better than last year, with top notch players. Sean Payton is a crafty head coach and they nullified our offense with their defense. Credit our defense too, otherwise how else can you explain them beating us without a touchdown. They scored when it counted and we had critical turnovers and drive killing penalties. I really think we are going to be more than ready to beat the Packers at home this time around. We are sick and tired of Rodgers sticking it up our kisters in the second half of games.

Coming from you? The Garrett supporter? Lol I can go through one of your threads and see how much cred you have on this forum.. Rockport is your biggest fan.

Shut your mouth.

And you as a Garrett hater, I can go through all your threads and see how football illiterate you are.....lol

when you're right, you're right. but that doesn't change the fact garrett is not a good head coach. dallas fans deserve better.

His record also shows he not a bad coach. He's here, and will be, so the best for unhappy Dallas fans is to find something that make them happy.

6 min mark. Anybody disagree with what he's saying?

Disagree completely.

Off the charts moronic idea
Kellen Moore about fell out of chair when asked...it was just so silly.
Hey, lets NOT score 30 this week!

He laughed “Great! I get credit for 30 and JG gets credit for 10!” Sweet!
:lmao:
Then he proceeded to say what they did in meetings the first 3 weeks was EXACTLY the same in week 4.

Just did not execute against a better team. Oline especially

Execution. The O line sucked. And, JG didn't cause 2 fumbles.

I don't know why this is so hard to grasp. Dallas lost by 2 points. You could name 30 to 50 different things that could have changed the outcome of the game. Personally, I think that Garrett being outcoached was a strong contributor to the loss but its just one of many.

1 scant call goes the other way, we win. AGREE. We and the Saints match up really well against one another. That's why the low scores. Sometimes its about who can outlast the other team on a given day. Tip your hat, give them credit for doing more than we did. Its just 1 loss. People try to make this more complicated than it is. WE GAVE THE BALL AWAY more than they did. SO WE LOST. We deserved to lose, no excuses. Learn from it, beat GB.

JG was put over the D several years ago.

Cooper had a mid week MRI which they don't do for no reason so I don't think he was 100%. Losing Gallup hurt a lot. In close games turnovers are critical and we had two fumbles, one was on us and one in my mind didn't happen. We played the same type of game in Dallas last year and won. This year in their house we came up short, it's over, water under the bridge, on to the Packers. If we can win two of the next three games I will be happy.
