Since Halloween is coming up,I thought this would be a fun topic. I remember there was a similar thread about this topic in the off topic forum about a year or two ago but it is against forum rules to bump old threads. If Anone who has had a paranormal experience please feel free to share

I've had odd occurrences, but nothing I could say was "paranormal." Cool subject to bring up though! Years ago, I felt like I was being watched, so I took a pic of my living room and there was some weird dusty-looking cloud that wasn't there by naked-eye but was there in the pic between me and my cat. It looked like it was flowing either away from me toward the cat or away from the cat toward me.

It was a digital camera, so sadly there was no negative to check, so it would suck as proof of anything. Still, I don't think it was paranormal. Just weird.

The only thing paranormal I ever experienced was lucid dreaming and an out of body experience.

I wish I would lucid dream more often, they're awesome.
I had an out of body experience several times when I was dating a smoking hot Wiccan chick that performed crystal rituals over me while I was sleeping.I would've broken up with her but she looked like Stevie Nicks.

Damn, This is my 10.000th post.

Years ago, late night driving home on an isolated stretch of road no other traffic..

Glanced at the clock while sitting at the stop light it was a little past 11pm

Just as I crossed the river a bright light / meteor / ufo flashed from
behind me to the horizon in front right down the path of the road but I was traveling.

It briefly lit up the entire sky almost like daylight.

Pulled up to the next light and was sweating and a little spooked from the event.

When I pulled away from the stop light it was almost midnight.

The distance between those two lights is about two miles

I've seen weird things happen, but nothing I would even remotely consider paranormal. Just odd things that I couldn't explain.

The funny thing is, that is exactly where the old "gods" where created way back when. If they couldn't explain why something happen. They would say the gods did it. (like mass diseases, unexplained deaths, drought, hurricanes / tornadoes) They were all considered punishment from the gods for whatever reason.

The Greeks had a huge imagination lol. They had tons of them. The twelve Olympian gods and a bunch of other smaller ones.

There's an old cemetery in the woods near me. I've gone there several times late at night. Each time something really strange has happened. The weirdest thing I didn't see. I was wading through the tall brush and pitch black darkness making my way into the cemetery when my exwife and her daughter started screaming at me from my truck.

They were almost in tears from fear. As soon as I got back to the truck they told me the radio quit playing and the digital screen flashed get out.

I don't know if it actually happened or fear caused them to imagine it. I do know that every time I've been there at night my cell phone freezes up as soon as I get inside the cemetery and unfreezes when I get outside the fence.

Another strange effect is the weeds are low during the day and somehow taller than the hood of my truck at night. My truck has an offroad suspension so it sits high.

This place is nicknamed Mount Hell.

Jake, please find a different cemetery to visit after dark. You've spooked me!

I've seen UFO type things outside my front door which is many miles away, but facing an air force base. It was before drones or I could have written it off. It's been a while so forgive me on the actual number of lights. Each light represented a different object in the sky. Not close but high enough to be seen over houses and trees. Two were larger and at least one smaller that I can remember. I think there were more small ones, but my memory won't cover them. They flowed fluidly around in the sky and would get close to each other then separate. Their movement wasn't like any aircraft I'm aware of. Nothing drew close to me, so I didn't run inside and get my gun. They were just moving around in odd patterns and then hovering. I know it was odd and that my phone wouldn't take a clear picture, but outside of knowing that shouldn't be happening it was sort of boring.

I've had little to no experience with anything paranormal or even that spooky. Well, I guess I did have one spooky thing happen to me but there is an explanation to it. Sleep paralysis.

I was living in a bachelor pad with 3 other guys in my early 20s. It was an old house. Nothing really unusual ever happened there. One night I woke up, there was a dark shadowy figure standing over me, and I could not move anything, at all, whatsoever. I feel like it lasted for a few minutes when all of a sudden I finally got a good gasp of air and could move. When I refocused myself the shadowy figure was gone. It was definitely creepy and it was the one and only time I have ever experienced it my entire life. So, I'm not really sure what to make of it but I can still see it in my mind like it happened last week.

Other than that, pretty boring for me.

I can't quit going there. My science training makes me have to find a logical explanation. I just can't accept a paranormal cause.

I have a few incidents to relate, but the scariest was when I was about 20. My girlfriend was moving out of her family home, and moving in with me, so we went to her house to get her things. I'd never been there before...or since.

About half an hour after we got there, I started feeling like we weren't alone. It seemed pretty casual and harmless, and I told her, "There's something else here."

She looked a little concerned, and asked what I meant, so I said, "There's something here with us."

She turned pale and started telling me about all the strange things that happened in that house, from green marks constantly reappearing on the walls to the fact that she'd always find her Ouija board (She was an only child.) someplace other than where she left it...Strange places. like the back of one of her drawers to under her bed. There was one day when she was in the basement with a friend, and she heard her mother come home and walk down the hall to her bedroom. When she didn't answer her calls, she went upstairs and checked her mother's room, to see the edge of the bed looking as if someone were sitting on it...Then stood up as she was watching. There are other things, but back to my experience:

As time went by, the feeling I had started growing, and feeling more and more malicious, until I finally said, "I'm getting really uncomfortable. We need to go, now." As that last word left my lips, the overhead garage door opened about 2 feet and closed again.

Needless to say, we were gone in seconds.

Have you brought a compass or anything, to see if there's any type of magnetic field?

Not at night. I took one there during the day and it didn't act strange. I did measure the weeds in the road one afternoon. They were 18". Later that night, they were taller than the hood of my truck, at least 4' tall. I'm determined to find a logical explanation.

A few weeks back I was sitting on the couch when out of nowhere I was struck in the side of the face with an orange. My wife was the only other person in the house at the time, and though she was in close proximity to the orange bowl she's as dumbfounded about the incident as I. It makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up just speaking of the anomaly.

One night, when I was probably 15 or 16, I was alone in the living room, watching TV, a little after midnight. On the end table to my right was a disassembled pen. Suddenly I saw something out of the corner of my eye, and I turned just in time to see the spring from the pen spinning in midair about a foot and a half above the table, and a couple of feet from my face. As soon as I looked at it, it fell to the table.

I said, "Okay, I get it." and turned the TV off and went to bed.

Similar experience.

I was around 22-23 years old and I had just went to bed and lied down on my back. I had left the light on in the room and drifted quickly into sleep. I remember waking up to a growling noise above my head. I couldn’t move. When I opened my eyes there was this sinewy gray “person” above me within a foot of my face. Its body was relatively still but it was shaking its head left to right insanely fast that it was just a blur, all while still making that growling/groaning sound.

That is surely creepy. What makes it so intense was I recall feeling very awake when I experienced it. It wasn't some dream state where I had one foot in each world. Definitely something I will never forgot.
