What if we traded Zeke at the deadline?

Hear me out. We are running a different style of offense and its more predicated on passing and RPO'S. The NFL seems to be evolving into the college game. Someone on here astutely reminded me of this. More I thought about it, HE WAS RIGHT. Zeke doesn't seem to fit and is a stud workhorse back that would fit better for other teams. WHY NOT SELL HIGH? Meaning, we have Pollard and all those speedster guys..why not trade him for a player and a pick? WHY not at least see what the market would give? Trade part of the contract and get a guy like Linval Joseph? I am spit ballin here lol..but maybe a 1st round pick and a stud run stuffer helps NOW. We are undermanned at DT...so any thoughts or counter ideas? What trade would ya'll make that doesn't involve trading for a HC? LOL...

We made our bed on Zeke. Nobody will touch him or that contract.

In my humble opinion?

Not a chance.

Just like I felt that a deal would inevitably get done in Dallas. Nobody is giving up anything to pay Elliott the amount of money he's making.

say it...out with it. Its just a pie in the sky hypethetical. I got thick skin.

When you said something about a team going all-in I expected you to mention a contender who is missing a big back or maybe lost theirs to injury.

Miami needs a complete rebuild. They don't need a RB on his second contract with a suspension on his ledger, and they definitely shouldn't give up a high pick for the privilege.

Miami is currently trading away good players for picks, not the other way around. They would be less likely. You'd be better suited to look for a team that thinks Zeke could put them over the top, like KC. But even still, did you see his cap hit for the rest of his contract? It's in the mid teens until 2026. Not a lot of teams are paying RBs big money.

My best advice would be to not get your hopes up for a trade for a defensive tackle. For one, it brings more attention to the fact that Hill isn't a factor. Secondly, it runs counter to the way this regime has very intentionally acted dismissive of the position. And thirdly, it wouldn't fit in with what the current defensive line coach wants to do.

I don't expect Marinelli fired until after the season (and even then it will be handled with kid gloves) and until that changes, nothing else changes on the defensive line.

Good try, not that NFL.

Even the Raiders are wising up. Dallas didnt learn and proves they just wont do it this season no matter how hard you guys believe.

More bad moves than good again this off season. Just sit down and wait til the end of the season when we are awesome and winning the SB again.
