Tony Pollard played 7 of 82 plays

Pollard did nothing in the few opportunities he had. Why are we looking to a 4th round RB to save the offense?
How much worse can you be with 3 points in a half vs Jets? All they call for him are runs up the middle which even Zeke gets stuffed on. We have 3 creative plays all game and the rest is all vanilla same ole same ole. Other teams make it work with two dynamic rbs. We just use ours as starter and backup, and one play a game with both on

in a game where Amari Cooper went out early. Don't you think using his WR skills to create matchups in this game may have been a good idea? Thanks Garrett. Get lost.....

I think he could have been used more at RB too. I know some will disagree, and frankly earlier in the season I would have thought it was a bad idea too, but while Zeke is a hard, tough runner, when the defense is doing a good job plugging holes Pollard seems to hit the hole a little faster and seems to be able to fit through a smaller hole. In short, mix in a little more of Pollard's quickness as a change of pace to Zeke's power.

As for WR, where has Devin Smith been? Did he get hurt?

I agree with the sentiment. Everyone wants a more creative offense.

Gotta feed Zeke to justify that contract. Those 3.8 ypc can't be replicated by anyone other than elite RBs.
You’re funny. Ask any nfl player if Zeke is elite and see what they say. B b but mattjames knows more than nfl defenders.

For the amount of pressure Jets were putting on the OL, Zeke was in there for protection in addition to run. I saw several times where he was decleating his guy.

It was like protecting a sieve, but he was doing his job. Do you really want Pollard in there for Dak's protection?

Which they did in Game 1 vs Giants. Most plays had pre snap movement. Lots of misdirection. All players, even fringe like Jarwin involved. Wide open WR due to scheme. And then after that it's been more and more like JGs offense. So one of three things happened

1) Kellen Moore only has 20 or so creative plays, and used them all on Giants, even though last half of that game was vanilla due to the lead

2) teams figured us out, which I doubt since basically
stopped playing how we did in game 1

3) Garrett didn't like the run to pass ratio and wanted the running identity

Are you saying you think Pollard is as good as Zeke? I’m happy Zeke stays in the game. He catches the ball just as well as Pollard. And the slot patterns were going to Wilson.

I'm saying for an 80 million dollar RB, it really shows the problem with the RB position that a JAG like Pollard can almost equal an "elite RBs" longest run on 3 carries.
