Tony Pollard played 7 of 82 plays

Wrong. I suggested Zeke wasn't exactly dominating yesterday to a point where he ABSOLUTELY needed to stay on the field at such a high rate. I stated on 3 carries, Pollard almost equaled Zeke's longest run on 28 carries. Zeke was doing nothing special, yet we all need to believe he was doing something no other RB can do....just because he's Zeke.

Pollard needs more playing time, we used a 4th round pick on him, coaches have talked him up, he also has a 100 yard game this season himself. Not wanting to have a speedier back on the field who can take it the distance is stupid game planning just because we feel Zeke needs to eat. We lose because we have no creativity. This league has multiple teams get by on a multi back system, there is no need to have Zeke carrying the ball nearly 30 freakin' times.

I disagree. Zeke needs to be running at least 25 times per game.

Lol ok Zeke sucks. Think what y’all want to. I’d love to hear current defenders speak on what they think about Zeke to hear y’all argue against it
He doesn't suck. He's just not this unstoppable player running wild like it's Tecmo bowl that has to have 100% of defense's attention. The dude can't even break a long run anymore.

No, he doesn't because this is exactly what causes defenses to key in on what is going on. Zeke is a between the tackles power back, he rarely bounces to the outside. I mean, Murray found a way to get to the outside better than Zeke does. He's becoming incredibly one dimensional with his running style.

No RB needs to carry the ball that much. If they can't get the necessary yards on 15-17 touches, they aren't exactly tearing it up.

If you are only going to play the next Gayle Sayers 7 of 82 plays, what’s the point of playing these next 10 games?

What qualifies as “necessary yardage on 15-17 touches”?

You also conveniently forget about all the other responsibilities a RB has. Did you really want Pollard out there handling the Jets max blitz scheme?

First downs? TDs? Getting the offense into short yardage situations on second and third down? Give me the benefit of having Zeke run the ball 25+ time in a game? If it's about "wearing down defenses", wouldn't this suggest that once the defense is worn down, that's the best time to hit the tired defense with a speedy back that could take it to the house? You know, like we did against Miami?

Things that work against Miami may not work against an actual NFL defense.

Pollard did nothing in the few opportunities he had. Why are we looking to a 4th round RB to save the offense?
He looked alright to me. The running game looked half-*** decent this game. But we lost. Again. No accountability. We let Adam Gase out-coach us. We let mono-boy hand us our *****!

LOL so our $80 million dollar RB can't wear down REAL NFL defenses? He has to play against defenses a little above college defenses? That's real great to hear.

I actually meant the two headed running attack thing.

I’m tired of debating you. You clearly don’t value Zeke as a player. You think Pollard can save the day. Understood.
