Twitter: Jerry: Garrett has evolved into a top coach. Would be very sought after on open market

The fans calling for Garrett's head remind me of a common criticism of Jerry when he was handing out bad contracts- Jerry falls in love with the players.

The fans who are all over Garrett seem to think this team is, "talented enough to win a SB." They've fallen in love with the players and think Garrett is holding them back. What if it's the opposite? What if these players have been developed to the point they've convinced you guys they're better than they are?

Dak is the perfect example of this. He came in not touted and has had a lot of success. Some seem to think it's in spite of Garrett but reality is he's put Dak in the position to have this success. They've taken an obviously flawed QB and convinced a significant number of fans that he's the next big deal.

Jerry should go watch one of the podcast on his team's website. They were hammering on JG and the coaches on Hanging with the Boys yesterday. Even Nate Newton, who always sticks up for JG, was saying bad things about JG and the coaches.

For all that are saying this is Jason's last year and that he'll be fired after the season, read the tweet again... More specifically read the very last couple sentences... For the last time Jason Garrett isn't going anywhere.. Mark my words...

Why don't you be realistic here for a second man. Jerry said the same stuff about Wade Phillips and look what happened to him once he lost the team. The bottom line is this, if the players can't get their act together and win some games Jerry's tune is going change really click, so to sit here and say "Jason isn't going anywhere..Mark my words? is ludicrous.... If Jason can't get this fixed, he will be as good as gone, MARK MY WORDS.

This will not over well with fans........lol

Well I’ve thought long and hard about this and I’m done til Garrett is gone. That may be never in my lifetime and that’s ok.

I will be actively rooting against Dallas in every game they play until Jason garrett is no longer the head coach.

This is just insane to me that Jerry thinks this

So... I’m out

Garrett has had nine years to win at a high level. He hasn’t done it. I don’t know a single other coach who isn’t judged on playoff success.

I don't think he's saying Garrett should continue coaching the Cowboys. He could very believe his time here is up but he would not have a problem getting another HC job from what he's hearing in inner circles.

I'm not a Garret supporter. Quite the opposite... I've wanted him gone for years. See, there's a right way of doing things, a wrong way of doing things and a Jerry way of doing things... The problem lies with the "Jerry way of doing things".

Delusional.... plain and simple.
How many more years of this, I guess having a good team, reaching the playoffs and being the most valuable sports franchise in the world is enough for him not to change the formula.. He's been saying this since 2013 and I believe he will keep saying this until the end result changes $$$.
