The fans calling for Garrett's head remind me of a common criticism of Jerry when he was handing out bad contracts- Jerry falls in love with the players.

The fans who are all over Garrett seem to think this team is, "talented enough to win a SB." They've fallen in love with the players and think Garrett is holding them back. What if it's the opposite? What if these players have been developed to the point they've convinced you guys they're better than they are?

Dak is the perfect example of this. He came in not touted and has had a lot of success. Some seem to think it's in spite of Garrett but reality is he's put Dak in the position to have this success. They've taken an obviously flawed QB and convinced a significant number of fans that he's the next big deal.

Another clown that thinks that Garrett "is a victim here in Dallas" and that he is "saddled with a lack of talent"?

You sound like a complete moron.

Garrett has made Dak? LOL

And how is that fool?

I suppose he made Romo who he was also? :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::laugh::laugh::laugh:

Before you laugh, keep in mind Jerry has the ears of 31 other owners and GM around the league. So it's not a reach to think he would know Garret's value around the league.

Jerry is in his comfort zone with Garrett. This was the case even before he named him full time HC .. imagine after 9 years..

You have to realize .. it is really difficult for an old guy to start a new working relation with a new HC and get used with him and his staff and get used to maybe some new dynamic.

It is going ti be huge for him to let go. I think he will if this team does not make it to NFCC at minimum.

1. Other owners have to be laughing at the clown GM we have at this point (gold coat and all).
2. Of course they tell him JG is a great asset to the team. therefore we'll never be a playoff threat to anyone else.
3. JJ has no clue what the other owners (really) think and probably can't remember half of what he hears with all the scotch he's hammering down.
Seriously JG would probably get an offer from a small 3A college based on recognition alone.
Sorry to be such a b.... but just so tired of the excuses when the main blame of the destruction of this franchise is sitting right between JJ's ears.

Hey Jerry-If you thought Jason had evolved into a top coach why didn't you extend him after last year? No coach wants to go into a season with one year left on their contract. I've learned you can't listen to Jerry and Stephen guys. Jerry isn't going to say Jason is on the hot seat. They are tied for first in their division. Remember Wade in 2010? Jerry even said he was safe leading up to the Green Bay game. If Dallas loses these next two-three games things will change.

I’ve watched Garrett’s coaching loss games in every stupid way imaginable. He is terrible. Yes, some of The players on this team are overrated, but Garrett is still a terrible joke of a coach!!!

I wish like hell that the media would quit pressing Jerry on this....all he does is dig his heels in further, and further realizing that he simply cannot give in. I honestly think that it;s mostly the Cowboy hating media that baits him into continually answer the question about his future.

100 pct. Garrett would have zero offers. Not even an OC job. Jerry is either lying or is suffering from dementia.

I am getting close to taking a long NFL break.
Anyone who thinks Garrett would get another HC job is really clueless. Have they watched Garrett over the years. He really has cost us at least 1-2 games per year and that doesn’t include the games we’ve lost because his game plans are basic and predictable.
