How do you guys think we match up against the Patriots, player vs. player. This isn’t about coaching. This thread is only about our personnel vs their personnel.

I think some missed the bolded part Verdict

We match up very well with them. Personnel vs Personnel. Our secondary is way underrated!

I would like to watch Cowboys vs Minnesota and Patriots @ Baltimore to get a better feel for the Cowboys/Patriots game. At this point, I will say the Dallas Cowboys players are better.

But, the above mentioned games will give me a better feel for Cowboys and Patriots, player vs. player.

Depending on how you define talent.....

The Pats are loaded with talent. It shouldn't be lost on people that Bill picks players that are very talented at what he wants them to do for the Patriots.

Belichick is for sure the best coach but fortunately just arrogant enough to trade us a tool in Bennett that we need to win this game . Bennett is nasty and has a chip on his shoulder against that team along with some possible knowledge of there schemes on defense .

That said Im all about Nasty and Crazy in that game . We have to play with a fearless attitude and get Brady on his back at all cost . If Bennett can get pressure and get Brady out of that game we have more than a punchers chance .

Yep I know he is 33 and is not as good as he once was but with the motivation he has against that franchise he could be as good once as he ever was and make the difference needed

More Pollard/Austin in the slot for jet sweeps, swing passes, and going deep. Lots and lots of speed and open field running. Such a good complement to Zeke on 1st and 2nd.

Sorry, but there is no way you're gonna tell me that a team that got humiliated in the division round last year, and finds itself at 4-3 currently, and with a loss to an otherwise winless team, is MORE talented than the undefeated, current Super Bowl champs that dominated said team that embarrassed us in that divisional round game. That is pure hype, and continuation of the BS propaganda dispensed by some local and national media that much of this fanbase eats up, year after year, despite year after year of mediocre team accomplishments.

big bill is not a bit worried about bennet or he wouldn't of traded him to a team he has to play the pats wont lose many games on their way to another superbowl title

New England is already a 9 point favorite in that game. I think we're better than that.

The question is will we be able to play up to our potential in that game? If we can keep up what we did in the Philly game we should be able to give them a run for their money

we are better everywhere except coaching and QB. Unfortunately those are by far the 2 most important positions and the difference is so great, they would beat us 9 times out of 10

Other than the Bills the Pats have played nobody thats why they are undefeated Jets 2x Steelers , Skins, Dolphins and the Giants I think . They have the easiest schedule in

football . Who do they have comming up Browns and Bungles and the rest of there crap division over again sheesh maybe a contest against KC but they pretty much have it easy

Yes they have a great coach with a plan and a great QB to execute it but everyone has a plan till they get punched in the mouth . Brady on his back early and often no matter what the cost = punched in the mouth . Take the penalty its coming unjustified at some point anyway make it count . Belichick makes it a point to take away every teams strength we need to do the same .

Problem is we have Mr nice guy finish last coaching us . We need someone fearless enough to do whats necessary to win this game . Or we will just sit back and watch Belichick and the Refs manipulate this game out of our hands .

Brady needs to spend enough time in that tent that he thinks he is CAMPING

True. But they are a well oiled machine while we are rusty and corroded. Of course this is due to coaching.

However, their defense is superior to ours in every way.

But the premise of this thread is lame. The coaching is a HUGE reason the Patriots have dominated for 20 years. Removing that. Aspect of the game is silly. The Patriots wiuld be mediocre if they had Garrett and company. Could anyone imagine the Patriots under Garrett? Hahahaha.

Talent in the NFL is overrated. On this level, teams are much more evenly matched than the average fan believes.

The Patriots have owned the league for the past 19 years because they have one of the best coaches and one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game, period.

If we want to start picking the Cowboys apart for not matching the Patriots' ability to have and to maintain success, well, make sure to put the 30 other teams up there on that list of failing, as well.
