Would you rather have Elliott, or Aaron Jones GB rb?

Fully understand, but all contracts are negotiable. The cap moves with acquisitions, cuts, renegotiations, etc. Why can't you understand that part?
Omg
Having to make cuts, resturctes, etc to compensate for bad contracts elsewhere doesn't make the subject contract any worse.

Why cant you understand that?

Teams do that for all contracts, good and bad. Stop acting foolish, and communicate like a grown up.

The win loss record when Zeke plays well and when he doesn’t says he is a leader of this team. They go as he goes. Zeke makes this teams run blocking look better than it really is.

Cant say I agree with anything there. I am obviously talking about being a leader of men, not stats. And I think its the other way around. The line makes him look better than he is. We have seen clips of Zeke going the wrong way and guys like Frederick showing frustration.

You understand rookie contracts don’t remain static forever right. This is Jones third yr, so one of two things is going to happen. He’s going back to obscurity, or for another yr he’ll perform well enough to make this conversation remotely worth entertaining and will get paid.

Yep and if he wants big money, you move on.

cool. If it’s don’t invest in the rb position and constantly churn that’s one thing. If it’s Aaron Jones or Zeke, it’s Zeke with zero caveats

Was never an issue of breaking the bank. It's an issue of contribution to the team versus price tag compare to how other RBs contribute to their team versus price tag. Zeke is no longer the driving force on this offense but his price tag would suggest otherwise.
Opinion. So, if he's the driving force, you agree w/ his contract?

If he were the driving force of the offense, his contract would make more sense but I don't know if I'd agree with it. Maybe so. It's hypothetical so, I don't know.

The question involved the player and the salary. In that scenario I take jones. Because its not just Jones. Its Jones, two other RB's and probably a defensive stud for around 12 million per year or around that.

Heck I was watching Kareem Hunt highlights this morning. He was signed for peanuts in the offseason when no one wanted him.

Give me Kareem Hunt and Tony Pollard and a great DT in FA over Zeke.

Boy that Aaron Jones ripped it up tonight!

Looked like Zeke against the Saints. Difference is the packers only paid a couple hundred thousand a year for that and we pony up 15 million a year.

Nope. Looked like himself in but a handful of games
