Zeke had a good game last night. He did an excellent job at finding cutback lanes last night. But when he gets to the 2nd level untouched, he turns into Troy Hambrick. Dude doesn't have the quickness to make safeties miss - Pollard is already better at setting up safeties for those huge runs. It's the difference between a 10+ yard run and a housecall.

Where are all these huge runs Pollard is supposed to be getting? I swear you Pollard jock sniffers need to pull your head out and stop acting like he's taking it to the house every time he touches the ball.

1:29, 1:46, and 2:16 - He just has to make the safety miss and it's likely a TD.

The top paid running back in the league should be making these plays.

Looks to me like Zeke created a lot of those yards, particularly early in clip. He's always having to reverse course and cut back. Not just make a cut, reverse course and cut back.

Zeke gets big runs if the initial hole is good and he can burst and break tackles through it. If he has to start and stop, not so much. He's not Sanders.

He got a big hole or two at the LOS, but that doesn't mean that the box was simply empty.

Elliot did nothing impressive yesterday, pollard looked better. The holes he had we monstrous not getting touched until several yards down the field he can get tough yards, but rarely breaks tackles.

The drop for a TD was pretty impressive.

I just don’t know how he averages almost a 100 yards a game for his career being so average-just imagine if he was as good as you guys expect him to be-he might average 5 more yards a game and be 1st in the list ahead of Jim Brown!

comparing zeke to troy hambrick.

Nothing really needs to be said.

probably the same people who boo'd emmitt and wanted ol Jack reilly and Dave Campo to play hambrick over emmitt in 02.

Zeke isn’t a home run threat, but he’s efficient, durable, and can line up anywhere. His pass protection has been elite since day 1.

also Hambrick never hurdled over anyone so this idea that Zeke isn’t athletic enough is insane

It’s been said over and over. Even his rookie season he wasn’t a homerun hitter. He only has a few over 40 yard runs for his career, rookie season included

Why do people like to make this wild, outlandish, threads that have no bearing on reality. Seriously people should have thread starting abilities removed putting forth a thread that offers nothing constructive.
