This was a really important game for Dallas. Since they lost, they will need to win one they are expected to lose and they need the Eagles to lose one they are expected to win. But Dallas must beat the Eagles in December. That is fairly certain at this point.
Two things I saw tonight. 1st, the Cowboys coaching hurt them in a big way tonight. Not only could they not find a way to get Zeke going in this game, but they chose to try him anyway with the game on the line. Terrible decision after Dak marched them 85 yards to the Vikings 10 yard line throwing the ball. But the Vikings caught the Cowboys off guard with rollouts and play action passes to the back side. If they watched any Vikings games this year they would have known that's what they do. Oh, and screen passes.
The other thing I saw is Tank Lawrence is finally earning the $105 million he signed for. When he came out of the game to rest, the Vikings ran right at his backups and had a lot of success. Or they threw the ball confidently down the field. With Awuzie being the target of everybody now, its important they keep Lawrence in the game or find someone like Bennett to take his place when Tank rests.
