Go back and watch the play...and see how wide open Cooper was across the middle. So your saying Dak missed a wide open Cooper? You don't pay a QB elite money if he's gonna miss those type of reads.

I said it was his fault and he went to Zeke who was obviously his checkdown way too early. I didn’t know if there was anybody else in his progressions he simply ignored, which maybe the Cooper route your referring to.

This is why I hate when people complain that we scored too fast in other games. At least if you score, you give yourself a friggin' chance.
it all started in Seattle, on a cold overcast night on January 6, 2007

This really can't be overstated. And it's not about Oline performance, its about complete lack of burst and production after contact.

Yes! Guy couldn’t even break a DB’s tackle on that swing pass at the beginning of the game. He can only run people over and that’s only if given amazing blocking or a head start to get momentum.

Exactly why I preferred trading him before contract and picking up Josh Jacobs.

he is not going anywhere...
I've been saying he has something on Jerry... it's the only way such incompetence can last so long.
Yer' most Astute in the refined arts of "gut feelin' perceptions " ,huh?,,I'll wager

*FWIW,,, I likewise as well had that very same "gut feelin' perceptions" concerning the melodramatic last weeks exiting of any further ongoing COWBOYSZONE participation by forum fellow member @Shane612 as I've just witnessed another wienerfied post of his somewhere in this very Eve's game thread blocks,,,LMAO

Garrett don't adjust, that's beyond his pay grade...
They should have run a few more screens to Zeke, but running the ball was useless, Vikings were not going to give that up, they were willing to give Cooper all the action he could handle but our "brain thrust" didn't want to over work him I guess.
A few more? I didn't see one. I agree with running some screens. Should have been about 10 of them.

Zeke was nothing more than a human rug burn tonight. He didn't have much to work with, but he has definitely lost a ton of burst, and almost all of his elusiveness.

He is content to get low and chisel for yards. He is no longer a big play threat.

This was a really important game for Dallas. Since they lost, they will need to win one they are expected to lose and they need the Eagles to lose one they are expected to win. But Dallas must beat the Eagles in December. That is fairly certain at this point.

Two things I saw tonight. 1st, the Cowboys coaching hurt them in a big way tonight. Not only could they not find a way to get Zeke going in this game, but they chose to try him anyway with the game on the line. Terrible decision after Dak marched them 85 yards to the Vikings 10 yard line throwing the ball. But the Vikings caught the Cowboys off guard with rollouts and play action passes to the back side. If they watched any Vikings games this year they would have known that's what they do. Oh, and screen passes.

The other thing I saw is Tank Lawrence is finally earning the $105 million he signed for. When he came out of the game to rest, the Vikings ran right at his backups and had a lot of success. Or they threw the ball confidently down the field. With Awuzie being the target of everybody now, its important they keep Lawrence in the game or find someone like Bennett to take his place when Tank rests.

Vikings missing three starters.

Home game.

Dak played lights out.

none of those can overcome the distinct coaching advantage that teams have against us.

Elliott really let the team down tonight.
More than anyone else.
Not even close....he's well down the list. He made the most out of the little room he was given. The Vikings were stacking the box with 7 all night and the Cowboys were using just 5 to block for him. The math just doesn't work and the coaching staff never adjusted. Zeke never should have carried the ball 20 times while the Vikings were in that run-prevent defense.

No the offensive line didn't open many holes. The Vikings were playing 7 up front and the Cowboys only used 5 to block. Do the math...that doesn't work. The Cowboys could have used a fullback or bring in an extra TE to help, but they didn't. Attempting to run the ball this way was insane, but especially in the 4th quarter. It was so obvious what the Vikings were doing, but the Cowboys never adjusted. I get you have Zeke in the backfield and you want to run him, but sometimes they won't let you. This coaching staff is so damn frustrating.
Not gonna change the hate....Zeke is the 2019 Fall Guy....been saying it all year.....Witt will come back or quit AFTER the draft again, and Kellen Moore will be our new HC...It's too funny.

They weren't stacking 7 all night.

The coaching staff needs to figure out how to beat a team that can stop Zeke. They can't keep trying to run Zeke when he's averaging 2 yards a carry. They need to let Dak sling it around when this happens. They need to let him and not wait until it's too late.

If they were any good at their jobs then they would do like the Vikings did against us. When running Cooks wasn't working they were getting it to him on screens. Then they adjusted the blocking on the outside runs to get him free.
