I honestly don't even think we'll make the playoffs, but what makes sense to me is this team has to have significant success, such as a trip to the NFC Championship, for Garrett to keep his job. It's only what I think should happen, but you're right. I don't know for a fact that Jerry will go with that.

Honestly Reverend, I think Garrett is gone at seasons end because I don't see us winning the SB. I could be wrong about winning the SB, (and I hope I am), but anything short of that outcome will mean a new coach at the helm.

I suspect being NFC Champs may be enough, but I'm not completely sure.

I said rising because they've won two in a row and after the Hawks and Pats, they should be home free if they don't slip up. That's all.
Plus the Bills aren't all that bad. I assure you they'll outcoach and outplay our defense when we meet up with them on Thanksgiving.

I believe the only way Jason gets to keep his job is if we do make the playoffs but reach the NFCCG. If he stays after we lose out in the 1st round, or miss the playoffs, he's never ever leaving guys; until he retires in 2057.
