lol. So did Emmitt. But he had brains to go to the outside when the middle was stacked unlike Zeke.

these clowns actually believe that zeke had no holes the entire Game and he maximized his opportunities. Lol

Emmitt had the BEST oline EVER plays a pro bowl FG...Zeke has neither ..and hard to bounce to the outside when your hit in the backfield..watch the tape

Cooks shredded whatever we did. Made our guys look silly.

He’s just a better back.

zeke looked like a turd.
Sigh. Ok. We get it. You don’t like Zeke. Nobody can change your mind. Yada. Yada. Yada.

And look, one shows up!!

All great backs play against stacked boxes. Aaron Jones leads the league with 9 TD's vs stacked boxes.

Cooks played against stacked boxes as well and he torched us.

You received a perfect lesson in what a REAL RB with speed, quickness, vision, and moves is able to do vs a turd that can only run into the middle of the line.

Is the best back in the nfl?

Anyone out there still thinks it was smart to pay him 15 million?
The reason Zeke had leverage was because on paper, this team had the look of a contender in the pre-season. We had a decision of having our stud RB available, or calling his bluff and being without him for half the season. Contract is now being second guessed because we are 5-4.. If we were 7-2 or 8-1, the tune would be different. Winning cures all!

Zeke is a good back, but has limitations and definitely isn't the best back in the NFL. Definitely isn't worth 15 million. Also seems to be fading already.

That is my stance on Zeke.

As a person and leader on this team, no I don't like who Zeke appears to be off the field and to his teammates.

The rest is just static.

I didn’t think he was best back in NFL and didn’t necessarily agree we should pay him 15 million.

But I still think he’s one of the top RB’s in the league and we should have either resigned him or drafted a similar replacement.

The success of this team is still surrounded around our running game. That’s where we are invested and it not only controls TOP but masked our weaknesses on defense leaving them off the field.

Most of all we need to get off to faster starts so we don’t have to abandon our running game and force our opponents to beat us like they are forcing us to do.

If this game and performance by Dak is what some fans want this team to look like it’s not a recipe for success. It resembles more of the Romo era.

I was one of the guys that wanted Jerry to let him rot in Cabo and play Pollard. With Garrett, this team can never be a true contender. I also don't think Zeke is any kind of key to a championship run. I would never pay a back 15 million in the salary cap era unless they were really really special and Zeke isn't. RB by committee with guys on rookie deals would be my route.

I would spend Zeke money on a DT or safety in FA. I also simply would have just traded Zeke and cashed in on the draft picks for him.

Regardless of record I think its clear to many fans that Zeke isn't the best back or the key to anything for this team.

But we all know that Jerry would cave, so here we are.

Agree, I would have done the same.. We'd be 5-4 without Zeke too. Heck, we may have even won a couple more since we wouldn't be justifying his contract and force feeding him the ball.

Make no mistake- Zeke is a baller.
But he, like many other players, is being wasted under Garrett.
This shouldn't surprise you after watching Tony Romo, DeMarcus Ware, Dez Bryant, Sean Lee, as well as other players who Garrett has wasted the careers of.
As well as the hundreds of millions of dollars they were paid, and the years of the fans lives.

Team needs to make the full transition to Dak and the passing game being the strength and focus. This conservative nonsense with Zeke up the middle is ridiculous. If they want to run Zeke, then get a lead and do it.

We stacked the box on cooks too.

or didn’t you watch the game?

who was the better back?

Cooks!!!!
Roy, we didn't stack the box buddy, we ran a base D most all night... reason Cook was able to get to 2nd level and beyond on most runs.
