I’ve never seen so much drama over a totally meaningless play...
Never played fantasy football in my life and I don't gamble.
although I am wishing I did. I wonder how much money could have been won had I or anyone else just bet 100 dollars every week on new england from the time Tom Brady took over!
But didn't everyone here blame Garrett for those answers also. When the Head Coach tells the media it was the player's fault, the players consider that selling out the player regardless of who was at fault (Quinn, Garrett or Austin).
Most HC's would just say there was a communication issue that they need to correct for the future.
I’ll come here to interact with y’all but I will not be watching any more games until the Jones boys get off their azzes and do what needs to be done.
Gailey (yuck), Campo (even worse), The Princeton p**s. It’s well deserved, Risen.24 years of villainizing the head coach.

Nah. Just to rail on Garrett. And our bad owners. So you won't watch the games but will still post about them?
That is the most CBZ thing ever.

If he just said "it was a communication error" everyone here would be blaming him for not holding anyone accountable.
To be honest, that should be UNDERSTOOD. We all know that and we’re just sitting here typing with our thumbs. Those clowns get PAID to run the ship.B/c Jason Garrett is the one responsible for making that call. He is the one responsible for making sure players/coaches know that "it's not a fair catch if the gunners aren't wide."
But if Garrett says it was a communication issue the blame goes back to him. He should ultimately decide the strategy there. So if the special teams coordinator makes that call without telling him, there's a huge problem. A head coach should allow his assistants to call the plays, etc. But they should be the decision maker in key moments like that. It's just another way Garrett refuses to take responsibility for anything. When the Head Coach tells the media it was the player's fault, the players consider that selling out the player regardless of who was at fault (Quinn, Garrett or Austin).

f the all 22, watch the replay behind Austin, it's all you need to see, there's no assumptions to make, sorry that doesn't help you trying to get a 30 yard return that wasn't there.Go look at the all-22 before making wrong assumptions. Do you even know what a gunner is?

How many (ex)players have called out Garrett?

You risk a turnover for the yards, just like they had to do on the first down play after the punt anyway.Gonna play devil's advocate here, guess what if Austin returns it and fumbles now who gets the blame Garrett but the entire sideline was there for Austin for a big return!
No one wants to read this crap!A tiny fraction of the players who played here, and the guys who did were fringe players like Crayton. The only good player who did was TO, who ripped everyone in the Western Hemisphere.
Guys like Orlando Scandrick have praised Garrett and Martellus Bennett - a knucklehead who played for 5 teams and never found a home - just told his brother he would love Dallas.
looks like the house of cards may be falling down
