It's good timing for Kap if he is in shape and performs well. The Carolina Panthers probably never thought they would be in such good shape after Newton went down. If he is headed to IR and a possible trade/release at the end of the season, they as much as anyone need another QB.

They need to be sending their scouts out to colleges to find one decent DT, not scouting a cancerous scrub QB who has been out of football for 2+ years.

This is nothing but PC nonsense.

DT isn't a priority here.

Lol Kap and Bennett on the same team with how much media coverage we get?

Okay, Jerry lol

Let’s also not forget he was pretty terrible he last couple seasons in the league and he’s been out for 3 years.

On paper, he wasn’t bad at all in 2016. I know stats can be misleading and I don’t watch enough 49ers game’s to know if this is the case.

I know he lost a lot of games, it was a pretty bad team.

He’s still probably an upgrade on Rush.

He wants to be a starting QB not a back up, unless he finally realizes he is not starting material and is okay with a backup role. Personally I think this is PR.

He’s better than we have at backup
Or at least he was before the time off
I suspect a guy doesn’t forget how to play sitting at home though

I think Dallas would be a great place for him to end this chapter. :)

Doubt anyone will sign him he hasn’t been on an NFL roster since 2016. His game was already in decline and he would be nothing but a distraction.

Jerry should sign him just so he can watch the idiot stand during the anthem. Then after the game say, got ya to stand now get out of my stadium.
