How about wearing socks depicting Police Officers as pigs? Wasn't he in an NFL uniform at the time? Maybe l missed it, but what did the NFL say about that? Did he even get a slap on the wrist?
If that’s what works for you ok. I disagreed with it but that isn’t enough to not care for someone unless you already had something against them. Rarely saw something like that be the last straw unless someone had more stuff against someone already ime.

If Kap turned in a good workout, he’d be worth considering.

My questions would 1) would he accept a backup role and 2) what kind of salary terms would he be willing to take?

Geno....I'm 100% confidence eh probably wanna go to a team that gives him the best chance to start AND win, if possible. Pretty sure that will his priority if presented with multiple opportunities. Since Dak has started every game of his career, he will not sign with the Cowboys unless we're the only offer. My guess, Dolphins, Broncos, Titans, Bears and Bucs are the teams that give him the best shot at competing for a starting job. Bucs and Bears would be damn near perfect fits with both teams having enough talent to win now.

What did Kap do to you for you not to care for him? I’m assuming you know him because otherwise I don’t get how you can not care for some athlete you don’t know.
That's exactly why. :)

If he can help the Cowboys I'm all for it. :)

3 question rule.

1. Is he available? Yes.
2. Is he affordable? Don't know for sure, but my guess is probably yes.
2. Does he make you better? Assuming he looks good in the workout, I would think he's a significant upgrade over Cooper Rush.

The other stuff is only as big as people choose to make it.

His distraction/drama outweighs his talent!!
No issues from Michael Bennett as of yet.

All parties involved will understand the scrutiny that will come with it. My guess is everyone will say and do all the right things.

He may be a better backup than what we have, but there's a reason he hasn't played in 3 years. They needed to settle on the lawsuit he filed against the NFL. Now wants to play again. I just don't have a good vibe.

I imagine every team will send a scout just so they don't have to deal with the PR.

If nobody wanted him 3 years ago nobody is going to want him now. Especially in the middle of the season.

If a team signs him it won't be for football reasons. Any team could've had this guy anytime they wanted him.

Also, nobody will sign him unless he is taking the minimum and we know he has turned down offers before that were wayyy better contracts then he'll get now.

Can't be any worse than Dak.

He might actually be better to be honest. Sign him Jerry.

I hope we sign him just for the sake of getting some mouth breathers around here banned.

I don’t think anyone has any intention of signing him, this is all media grandstanding by the NFL. Even if any team was willing to deal with the distraction, the guy was an AWFUL QB by the time he left SF.

And people have decided to make it a National talking point.

He is bad for business one way or the other and just simply not worth whatever value he has if there is any.

People from both points of view threaten to not watch football anymore because of him...

I for one don't want the off the field circus of signing Kaepernak. Don't need the media nonsense it will bring or the controversy. Especially in Dallas. As soon as this guy is signed everything is going to start all over again. The subject will be resurrected all over again with opinions of players, people congratulating him, people being outspoken, ect….ect….

Personally, I like my sports without the other stuff.

Then there is the fact that he hasn't played football in what...…………..3 years now?

Seriously...

Just go sign RG3. He's Kaepernick without the added drama.
