It's weird how his play has sloped down so early in his career. Half a season off for suspension, and no serious injuries I recall. But he just physically doesn't look like he has the same burst or top end speed. In his fourth season. And really, it's not like we weren't noticing it last year too.

If you think about it, the 6 year extension starts after his 5th year option, so, we are 1.5 years from the true extension starting.

In all, it was a 8 year 103mil deal, which 6 years and 90mil of it were new money.

Now obviously he gets his guaranteed money earlier than that, but yea, technically his extension in terms of years won't start till 2021 lol.

Hopefully it doesn't age like milk.
