Can Garrett save his job in your eyes?

Are you like me and feel that Garrett needs to go no matter what? Or can he achieve something this year to save his job? I want him gone. We could pull off the unthinkable and win a Super Bowl and I would probably still want him gone.

He needs at least 10 wins. 10-6

He also needs to do something big in the playoffs. That means a Div playoff win.

The Jets game hurt.

The slow starts and the Basic defense also hurt.

Garrett lost his job in my eyes in Atlanta. One of the worst jobs I have ever seen of any coach preparing for a game.

I tolerate him because I don't think he's going anywhere and am not sure how much of a difference another HC could make under the circumstances. My biggest surprise of this season would be Booger not extending Garrett.

Also the teams window of opportunity is closing.

We are half way through Dak, Zeke, and the OL's careers.

We haven't won anything other than a few NFCE titles and a wildcard game.

Not good.

The only way he saves his job is if he shows a completely different coaching style. Both Jerry and Stephen have made public statements that they felt the team looked "predictable". If JG comes out and shows an offense and a defense that confuses the other team in addition to getting us deep in the playoffs then he stays. If he continues to revert back to his conservative ways then he will be gone.

Get ready to be surprised because media/fans are done with this guy and Jerry knows there's no sales job that will change our minds.

This whole idea that he will suddenly figure it out and the team will get hot enough to win the Super Bowl this year is exactly the unwarranted optimism Jerry relies on that has kept Garrett here long after he has proven he is not capable.

Garrett has shown us all who is and what he isn't capable of.

It's definitely time to move on from Garrett. Even if he wins the Super Bowl (never gonna happen) I would be for replacing him. He's had 10 years for gods sake and he's still the same horrible game manager, same unpreparedness when playing good teams. It's like a bad movie we have to keep watching. It's time for a change.

I heard on the radio that Garrett is the 5th most tenured head coach that has not reached the conference championship game in the NFL's 100 year history.

Sure. Just see what happens the rest of the way. He’s still the frontrunner to be the coach next season.

He’s been here long enough. A decade of some good, some bad, but overall just above average isn’t good enough. Time to move on and see what else is out there. It may be better, it may not, but Red has had more than enough time here to try and win a championship. Time to move forward.

Talent wise, the team is loaded.

We have some very good coaches on the team. [KRichard, Nussmeier, Columbo, Kitna]

And some that need to go [Marinelli]

The Defense is Basic and we lost to the stinking Jets.
