I think this helps the Patriots because we've been airing it out with great success pretty much all season & they rely on screens and short passes. Zeke is long overdue for a huge game & we have the tools to win this game - but just like with any team that beats the Patriots, we can't make very many mistakes & we'll have to put pressure on Brady. The Pats beat the Bills and Eagles - but their defenses gave Tom Brady absolute hell:

-Bills held him to 18 for 39, 150 yards, 0 TDs
-Eagles held him to 26 for 47, 216 yards, 0 TDs

Sidenote - the Giants secondary also allowed 0 TDs to Brady, even though he threw for 334 yards.

If our defense can give us the same effort that the Bills and Eagles game their offenses - there's no doubt we'll win this game.

That's really not that cold for what it could be there this time of year. Of course it could be getting cold by the end of the game.

Seems like some of Dak's worst games have been in the cold, though he's had to face very little of it.

OT for this game, but I wonder about going to Chicago. Now that could be a rough day.

Weather could be a factor but the OP is right about the short passes and screens...so more importantly....54 and 55 had better show up to play football or its going to be a long day.

Man for all the grief 21 takes, imo its those two that are killing this team, more specifically the defense....which is going to be the downfall of this season. They can win w this offense in any weather.

Thanks for the weather forecast. Now I know to dress warmly to the game. The chance of rain will decrease as the day does on. I don't think it will be a problem. It just sounds like great football weather to me.

We have two RBs who are good at taking short passes and turning them into something. This may be a day to actually use them more in that capacity.

Our D needs to step up. Our Oline needs to get some push and help Zeke gain yards consistently. Plus, Dak will need to protect the ball while our coaches call good plays, make proper adjustments and keep the team motivated and focused.

yea both of these games will have an effect on the passing game. With the amount we throw the ball it seems you would be asking to much of the wr to run this much in the cold, especially chicago like you said.

At 4 the temp will Def be on the downward trend towards the lows projected. The rain can change. Forecast changes every couple hours here. I work out doors and it makes it hard to schedule work. So I've stopped listening to the forecast. I go to work and if it rains we pack it up.

If the field is wet, bring a bag full of the proper cleats for the guys, would you?

Brady has the worst TE/WR core in the NFL. His OL is a mash unit. Its a wonder they score at all. But they don't have to score much either as their defense has only allowed 1 team to score more than 14 points.

On paper, man for man, we should kill them. But, coaching matters in the NFL.
