Twitter: Broaddus done as Cowboy employee

It was a reasonable conclusion prior to Derek Eagleton wishing him well. His boss isn’t going out of his way to talk about the great job he did if he was fired for either his opinion or personal behavior issue.

So someone didn't say anything about him personally issues you just jump to the conclusion that he left because of something personal behavior. Give me a break!
.

he also just said mickey Spagnola had nothing to do with him leaving. just heard this on 105.3 the fan minutes ago. this is as obvious a lie as a lie can be. at least he's smart enough not to burn bridges.

Again Cern if this new gig was offered with a time limit for accepting and starting why would any feud with Spagnola have anything to do with it. Yes Broaddus took the high road just like so many coaches take after getting fired and thanking the organization for the opportunity but that feud very well could have zero to do with the actual reason he left.

I was saying this in the 2 weeks they had phased him out. He wasn’t doing podcasts or video segments but was doing articles from home. Seemed like he wasn’t allowed to come to the facility. Odd how he kept part of his job but not all of it. Perhaps they just needed 2 weeks to find someone to do his written portion and wanted to try out others in his video spots.

I'm pretty sure the head of this organization's marketing, Charlotte Jones, is more responsible for the editorial foundation of the teams website. Albeit the editor themselves. Lol!
Perhaps, but it still reflects on him. If you owned a prominent business, would you want incompetent writers working for you?

They talked about Broaddus on the show today and explained what happened. Unfortunately, I tuned in at the end of that segment when they were just talking about how much each of them learned from him. Maybe I’ll go back once the podcast is up later today.

Which show?

Broaddus is going over and above to say it wasn’t anything to do with Mickey.

Take him and the rest of the people involved at their word.

Conspiracy theories are starting to sound like the New Orleans game when people thought Garrett took playcalling back for the day.

1. Bryan leaving had absolutely nothing to do w/ Mickey. 2. Bryan leaving is a HUGE loss. We are a resilient bunch though. I trust my team & others we will hire to still deliver great content. 3. We appreciate those who continue to support us.

This was the last Talkin Cowboys Broaddus appeared on Friday November 1. His normal tweeting pattern stopped after that day. Appeared to be business as usual with him. At the very end he said he would be doing the Cowboys pregame show. I don’t watch the Cowboys pregame show but I’m assuming he wasn’t on it because he didn’t do the Cowboys OT post game show.

As I wasn't in attendance at any meeting regarding his departure, I can only go by common sense. Not likely the cowboys liked the open animosity exposed to the public. I wouldn't either if it was my company. But I'd never hire someone like spags.

My theory. He got a better offer from someone. He put in his 2 weeks notice. They took him off any live shows as a precaution. Not that they were worried about him, but it could be standard procedure to keep people who are leaving from going rogue on a live broadcast.
He could keep writing articles because they go through editing before being published.

Honestly, I'd want Homer's. Dissension among the ranks is never a good thing. As a fan, I'd want just the opposite.

Nope.. he's done that since he started and has said so a countless number of times the JJ&Co. wanted him to do just that. Eventually, it will come out as to why. Personally, it doesn't matter to me as to why. All i know is the team lost the best football knowledgeable media person they've had. And it kinda sucks. I didnt always agree with everything he said but I listened to him because hes been there done that.

My guess is he will be working at a local liquor store selling rumors.

We can only hope Ambar Garcia gets to take his place as the Film Study.

His departure didn’t appear planned it was sudden. If it was planned he would have announced he was leaving either on Talkin’ Cowboys or on Twitter. Anytime someone leaves there’s a send off. They all announce they’re leaving. The fact that Broaddus didn’t and everything appeared business as usual on his last appearance on Talkin’ Cowboys points to some sort of dispute that kept everyone tight lipped about his absence.

Here is a perfect example found on the site right now.

Of course, the obvious flip side is that it’s not necessarily hold the Dallas offense back. Dak Prescott has thrown for 841 yards the last two weeks, highlighted by a 444-yard, three-touchdown performance to pull out the win in Detroit.

Maybe I am the only one who cares about this? But I can't stand sloppy writing on so called professional websites. It might be a millennial thing? But regardless, it is bad and it makes them look bad. The part in red is poorly written and makes no sense. Instead it should be written like this:

Of course, the obvious flip said is that it doesn't necessarily hold back the Dallas offense. See how that sounds better?

Eatman is always good for a few gaffs as well. Such as:

But if that wasn’t it, maybe Sunday in Detroit was his best. He threw deep posts to receivers, deep outs, crossing routes, underneath throws, screens and just about anything else you’d could imagine.

Seriously Nick? You would could imagine????? Get outta here with that high school level writing ability.

They did not explain anything, just said he left for personal reasons and thanked him ect...

Same line, he left for "personal" reasons.
