Why cant mickey be let go. I mute the podcast every time i see his mouth open.

I swear he has incriminating evidence/ photos of Jerry or Stephen because as horrible as he is, they keep him around. Maybe he's just a good little lap doggy thats why.

Talking Cowboys is now unbearable to listen to. I haven't listened to the show since finding out Broaddus left. I just go straight into the break and then HWTB. Mickey drags the show down into the mud.

BTW.....Jesse's breakdown on the inner workings of the Patriots organization was awesome yesterday on HWTB.

I just rather listen to music.

I actually listened to Tuesday’s Talkin show to see if they said anything about Broaddus. No info. Just ‘thanks’ from two of them not named Mickey.

But Everson Walls gave some good stuff. Specifically about Belichick having players scout opponents even way back when. We still have caught up to that.

Is everson a permanent addition to the show? I agree he does bring some good info to the show. More than the other 3 bafoons anyways.

They could've done something but the way they handled it they deserve all of the speculation they are getting.

According to Tim MacMahon he was fired. Broaddus didn’t dispute it was the Cowboys decision here. However in another tweet he said it was his decision. There was clearly a dispute that caused him to leave or be fired. The Cowboys may of wanted to make some changes he didn’t like and he decided to move on or he was fired.

He got fired. Clear as day.

My wager is that a female employee complained about getting unwanted attention from him.

Well he just came on 105.3 the Fan and said that he will be doing the pre-and post came cowboy shows from now on. I don’t think he left Talkin Cowboys just so he can do the pre-and post game shows on the Fan. I believe he was let go.

True. I stopped listening to it a year 1/2 ago. I only like the break. Mickey is annoying as heck. He thinks he knows everything. He has that stubbornness that many older people have Like you have no right to disagree. I got the feeling for the last few years that Bryan was always biting his tongue.

they have had no one to do this since jessie holley was fired.

Probably the best football talk of recent times was Derek, Nick, Broaddus, and Amber. Helman is pretty good too.

Much of the pretty of all the latter starts with Derek and Nick. Nick is by far the best writer they have, Derek knows how to run a show, Nick knows how to play his part, and they provide the nucleus for additions of a football guy and email female.

look you guys need to understand, Broaddus would not just quit this job. No chance in hell. This is all I am going to say about it.

And if he quit on anything but the worst of terms he would give notice and they would have had him say goodbye to fans on the air.

He was obviously forced out.

I mentioned just over a week ago that it could be something along those lines. It seems to be a common theme these days. However, anyone who thinks his departure had nothing to do with a rift and that he simply found a better opportunity is kidding themselves.



I was wondering the same thing about Broaddus. I was thinking it was either an illness or he was suspended for something improper. Talkin’ Cowboys isn’t the same without him. No one can cut someone off and take over a show like him. He loves talking football. lol
