Do you think this team actually cares about winning?

Legit. Does this team care about wins? Or just money? You look at true players who live for football: Luke Kuechly, Wagner, Brady, Rodgers, Brees, etc. We have no one like that on our team. No one on this team actually cares. No one on this team actually pays that much attention to detail or their craft/position. No one on this team is dedicated. Seriously, everyone in this team is nonchalant about winning and losing. We come on this forum every day and complain, but deep down, so you really think they care about wins and losses? Do you really think they care and think about the same problems we do deep down? I see the things these players are doing. They are more interested in fashion, girls, smoking, partying, etc. there’s nothing wrong with that, but it’s clear that the image of playing for the Cowboys is more precious and important to them than actually playing for the win. Like getting to the Super Bowl. Is it really that important to them? I know football is a business and at the end of the day they care about contracts, but you’d think players would care about their “dream” jobs a bit more. Am I the only one that notices this?
Is this a coaching problem or just a personel problem?

Do we have the right people leading the players. Our approach to every part of the game is conservative. We play not to lose. In that final defensive drive, we had LBs playing back. Why didn't we stack the lanes? We gave them two of the easiest runs at the most critical time.

On ST, complete disaster!!

We don't do enough situational drills with these guys at practice and it shows. All NE had to do was create a wrinkle presnap and we get mentally rattled on the field and cause a penalty .

To answer the OPs question. Players do want to win. The issue is who is guiding them down that path for success?

I hear Dak is usually the first one in and the last one to leave, plus all the off season work he did on his own....I'd say he cares.

Just look at the pregame captain's pep talks...... It seems like everyone involved cares.

Look at the dejected faces on the players when they're losing, or the smiling and laughing faces when they're winning....Seems like they care.

Jerry only wants to win his way. He wants it very badly but not enough to get the hell out of the way.

The revenue just enables him to continue his selfish egotistical passion without direct accountability.

We’ve become like many mediocre and dormant cities. We follow because they’re our team for better or worse. Winning just makes it more fun.

Sitting on your couch mad like me doesn't make you better than these guys dude.

Most of the players on this team live and breathe football, they wouldn't know what to do without it and go through more pain than most people for it.

I thought it was trope, but I truly believe this teams coaching has left them, and I am sad for it.

Jerrah needs somebody to tell him and junior that they are fired.

Good grief, this place is embarrassing at times.

Of course the players want to win. Even Jerry wants to win, but he wants to do it his way. Therein lies the problem.

Are we sure this isn’t just for the money and fame? Or is it truly for the love of the game? I believe the latter. Sad to say and see, but it’s likely the truth. Say we pay Amari and Dak. How do we know they won’t fall off a cliff because they got what they wanted? Look at Zeke. I’ve been giving him the benefit of the doubt and he looked okay tonight, but I don’t know. Something’s off. He got paid. Jaylon has been a bit off as well. He got paid. There’s a pattern here. I get it, money is needed to survive and you want to get paid the most, but isn’t it a bit... rude, to somewhat stop caring after you get paid? To not try your best after you get paid? To simply give up after a few things don’t go your way after getting paid? I understand they owe us nothing, I’m just looking for a deeper understanding of what’s going on inside the heads of our players.

Your going to break the Cowboyzone like button w/ a take like this. I think the answer is pretty obvious...there is no accountability in Dallas...and it shows from week to week.

I'm getting old - please use paragraphs. ; )

It comes down to the culture Jerry and Jason have infected this franchise with. It falls on them to build players and get their minds right.

Its like if I go to a Best Buy or something and an employee is talking on the phone instead of doing their job - I dont blame the employee - I blame the manager who lets that happen.
