How has coaching incompetence changed your enjoyment of Cowboys games?

for me, it is a lot.
on some level, it has become hard to watch.
like the special teams last game not adjusting to the weather after any idiot watching the game knows better.
like garrett kicking the field goal instead of going for the touchdown with little time left and losing by 7.
i can almost count on some strategic mistake that tries hard to turn victory into defeat.
and there would likely be some moment in the game where i would be in disbelief as i watch the action unfold - thinking 'they could not be seriously doing that'

It sucks. It just feels like we're behind the eight ball going into almost every game.

Also, once we get into the playoffs you feel hopeless about winning a title knowing Garrett has to coach his team up for 3-4 games against elite competition with no margin for error. Does anybody imagine that ever happening? Of course not. So what are we really doing here?

yes it has become surreal to me.
not adjusting to the weather for special teams was just 'special'.
and the coach was not fired immediately after when he should have been left with a greyhound ticket.

A lot. After falling behind early in 8 of the 11 games this year, I pretty much expect that the Cowboys will have to come from behind every week. Every week...here we go again. It gets old and just sets the tone until the Cowboys catch up.

I love watching the Cowboys but watching this constant mediocre coaching wasting talent of guys I like has gotten old. I had such high hopes back when Romo, Witten and Ware were young with Bill then came along Wade and JG and those hopes are gone.

Yes, it has. It’s to the point where after 45 years of being a fan I almost despise this team due to its owners and coaching staff CONSTANTLY having us ill-prepared for games.

Lack of execution and unfair penalties bother me. Coaching is a non factor in my enjoyment of the game.

Massively. When Landry was coach in the 70s, I knew he could out-coach any other coach in the league with the possible exception of Chuck Noll. When Johnson was coach, I knew the team had superb talent and Johnson knew exactly how to maximize that and often out-coached other coaches. With Garrett, I can pretty count on almost any other HC in the NFL out coaching him. If I looked long and hard thought the NFL, I might be able to find a coach of one or two of the 32 teams that Garrett could out coach. Maybe.

I want the cowboys to win but with garrett its just that he has failed so much that u just know that he has reached his top level here in dallas its time for him to move on when u watch with him as the coach u know they are not prepared and in the end when its important in the big games his team will fail hard to enjoy something that u know in the end your team will always spit the bit so no its a lot harder to watch cowboys games and has been for awhile now
