This is the "cultural" issue that has plagued this team. Since Parcels left in 2006, there hasn't been a coach who commands the locker room. There is no fear or accountability.
Exactly.
There have been countless articles promoting Garrett as a "motivator", "the players like him", and "the team has not given up on him".
I think that's a lot of BS. The players tolerate Garrett because it's all very predictable, safe, & cozy. I really doubt there is the level of respect that HC's of successful teams demand, and get.
That atmosphere of course actually starts at the top, and that's not going to change in the foreseeable future.
I haven't given up hope though that Jerry will hire a coach that does have real motivating skills, strong decision making, and a solid winning background. Jerry & Stephen would need to let that coach pick his own staff, have final decision on current player status and acquisitions, both draft & free agency.
Yes that's a lot to hope for but at this point it's all I've got.

It was Michael Bennett. He specifically asked for Charmin ultra soft toilet paper in the locker room bathrooms. But Jerry went cheap.

"The enemy against greatness is the unwillingness to change." - M Bennett

Not as impactful as #Finish on a T-shirt, but give Bennett another year and he'll boil it down to a "#Change" Iron-on.

Seriously, the guy understands winning culture and knows this aint it

Change should start with Garrett, Maher and Marinelli tonight. THat is a wakeup call.

Whether you like him personally or not, calling the leagues leading rusher 2 of the past 3 seasons an "afterthought for coordinators" is laughable
Oh... I missed his dominant performance this season.

i thought it was jaylon smith that had the bills jersey.

Everyone had a bills jersey apparently. I know Dak did. Zeke probably. Jaylon of course. Who cares at this point? This team obviously could care less about winning. How embarrassing is it to lose to your opponent and then go up to them and ask for their jersey like a little kid? These players are embarrassing. Focusing on the opponents jersey rather than getting frustrated for their terrible performance they put up 5 minutes ago. Let’s you know the mindset of this team and how little they care. You don’t see Bennett going out and doing something stupid like that.
