How close are you from walking away as a fan?

All you 'not while Jerry's here' non-fans, you can thank him for three Lombardis. If he hadn't purchased the team, we wouldn't have made that run in the early/mid 90's. Mid-late 80's management and coaching was the worst period for both in Cowboys history.

I’d never walk away but I have recently found second teams; unthinkable in the past, however, we’re so bad when it counts that it’s been a guilty pleasure for me.
Cheering for the niners this year now that it’s over!

My interest has dropped every year since the mid 90s Super Bowl runs. I now wonder why I burn 3 valuable hours of my time each weekend on something that only frustrates me the majority of the time. It may eventually reach the point that I only selectively watch certain games. They are close to losing me and I think many others. Not to another team, but from the NFL all together.

Yeah, and if he hadn't purchased the team, we would've won 7 super bowls from 89 to now.

The older I get the more I realize everyone in that organization is in it for themselves...Most selfish team I can ever remember....and it starts from the top...as a fan...I'm disgusted w/ myself for putting up w/ such nonsense for so long. I seriously think the end is near for me. The game has changed...Politics, greed...have completely ruined the game. It's just not worth watching anymore.

You need to go back and look at our seasons prior to Jones buying the team. Landry and the old guard weren't winning anything. There ONLY thing old ownership/MGMT (Murchison/Schramm) did was hire Landry. Bum Bright never won anything and wasn't going to win anything. You think we'd have won more SBs? More likely we'd have looked like the Browns.

Not close. Ill always be a fan. Maybe someday from a distance, but I doubt it.

Not walking away... but for the first time as an adult, I’ve stopped planning my day around the Cowboys game.

Don’t get me wrong; I still watch.... but I missed a good chunk of the Detroit game to take one of sons out for some 1v1 time and was in no rush to get back in time for the game.

I will quit being a fan when I'm in the ground, until then I will stick it out no matter what. If I can hang in though a season like the Cowboys 2015 one, or the last three as Nebraska fan and not want to leave I will be a fan no matter what. That is what fans are suppose to do, stand by your team even when there really bad.

Not going anywhere. I'll always be a fan, despite being just around a month old when we won the first of 2 Super Bowls over the Bills. However, i must admit that I'm starting to become a bit numb and wondering if I'm ever going to be fortunate enough to see the Cowboys win a championship. So, I'm feeling blessed to have another fandom to focus more time and energy on.
