He won’t do it till we are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs and the egirls are worse than us. I was giving JG a chance (because we have no choice) but was done after Thanksgiving. Maybe a interim HC like Richard may help, but could sent a early message to the team that the FO has given up on the season.

If we lose again tomorrow nite it will appear to look like the team has given up on its Lame Duck coach.

Making a move then would be more of an effort to save the season.

Not removing Garrett then would look more like the FO has given up in the season.

I think JJ is looking as hard as he can for reasons to keep him for the rest of the season. JJ coming out of the locker room crying said a lot to me, even if he may have been drunk and emotional I believe he knows there is no choice. JG has likely given up and players know this. He has been lame duck all year.

The Panthers actually made a good choice IMO. They fired there headcoach now instead of waiting until the end of the season. So now they can agree, in principle, with another coach before the pickings get slim.

They can have their new coach on board before the end of the calendar year. Giving him time to scout the current players and prepare for the offseason. Not to mention he can start calling around and penciling in a make shift staff.

Won’t happen. He’ll be hoping for that miracle playoff run until we’re mathematically eliminated all the while looking for ANY reason to bring Bozo back.

I’m not sure why we’d follow or support Jerry’s rhetoric?

And yes I’d agree he’s looking for ways to keep him but it’s a winless battle. Jerry can’t save Jason. He’s already damaged that opportunity. I believe beyond repair.

By firing their HC now to give life and spark the team.

Tough decision made by Panthers owner over a former SB coach and NFL coach of the year.

But as owner you’re always looking for that spark once you sense the coaches fate after the season.

Fire your hero Garrett?

Welcome to the club. Better late than never. Only one poster left.

I agree and why it needs to be called out because as usual Jerry’s selfish decisions are not what is best for Cowboys Football.

Obviously you have misunderstood my support of Garrett. Which was predicated on the notion there weren’t other viable puppet options.

But once it appears the lines have been drawn I’m ready to move on. I don’t believe him staying as a Lame Duck coach is what’s best for Cowboys Football. It’s become too toxic environment.

We still have some fans here who believe Garrett staying on presents our best opportunity to win out.
If we win out and make the SB then he will stay.

Which would be the biggest mistake JJ could ever make.

You either support Garrett being the coach or you don’t.

You have been one of his biggest supporters. In fact, only one other poster has been more wrong and late to the game on Garrett. But congrats, at least your not last.
