hahahahaha. this drunken old fool. I've been assured other organizations are run the exact same way.

"I'm the GM, who is also the owner." time to be done with this mess. hahahaha

Honestly, it's this simple. Listen up.

Jerry LOVES having Garrett as his coach. It affords him the ability to roam freely and say anything without worrying about Garrett talking back.

Just like Stephen, Charlotte, and Junior. They're family that way.

Now, he has to hire somebody else, who might not be so cooperative and isn't part of the "family." The gig is up. He may have to consider or "run by" something with the head coach now before he does something. It could be Parcells all over again.

Plus, he's about to pay Dak Prescott more money than he paid the last entire Super bowl roster.

That's why he's upset. Nothing else.
Yeah I think the realization that his 13 year pet project is a failure and the window of cheap young talented players has closed is really getting to him.

Maybe, just maybe, all this scrutiny from the media, from the analysts, and from the fans will make Jerruh realize that he himself is the main problem here and he should step down and hire a real GM.

He actually used the word "comfortable" with Garrett and as a possible hindrance in selecting his successor.

Booger is a spoiled old man. He has everything just as he wants it and the family makes sure it stays that way with a net worth of 8B to inherit. He's hired family and had everybody involved in on the job training because once this thing got to moving, a bunch of incompetents couldn't send it off the rails. He can absolutely obliterate his job and not stop the cash flow.

What he's attempting to do is a political maneuver. "I am so angry and frustrated, I will be angry for you too" (so that you are not angry at me). Hey, I am a victim here too.

Completely understands the fans frustrations with him but essentially screw the fans, I know better than they (and just about everyone in the modern world) about what it takes to get this team to win.

Hey Jerry, can you explain why Aikman and Irvin and other former players are now frustrated with you as well?

Wishful thinking and you have a lot of company with that.

Wish that Jerry would get his act together and fire Garrett. And not try to wait and hope for Garrett to do just enough by winning a division that is trash right now. Jerry is waiting for the Cowboys to be completely out of the playoff picture before he makes his decision. But, this team has shown nothing to prove that they can become a true playoff caliber team in the last weeks of the regular season. I wish that he would just fire Garrett. What is it going to take getting humiliated again on National TV, but this time by the Rams.:thumbdown:

Damn, Jerry is furious! He started the interview by insulting the radio host: "Get your damn act together and start asking your questions. I've been up and about all night. I'm not in the mood for this" -Something almost exactly along those lines.

I will find the link as soon as the interview is over.

Jane Slater was also interviewed and said they are now in serious talks with Urban Meyer and Lincoln Riley.

Welcome to a fair number of my Mondays over the last 10 years jackass.
