Apparently, you have the "reasoning powers of a 2nd grader" - because the context was already given in other comments.

> Implication that it's easy

The implication IS NOT there, you are adding that...even though the context has already been given. Before responding to me, read the comments, boy. Nobody is disputing finding a franchise QB is hard, you still with me? The great organizations in this league do not SETTLE ON MEDIOCRITY EVEN THOUGH IT IS HARD - you still with me? Probably not, but let's keep going, and hopefully you read that a few more times.

Now, try to claim I said it's easy - with you THINKING I implied that. If you can't find the quote, admit you were wrong and be on your way. Not settling for mediocrity =/= easy - don't attempt to quote me, boy, and then get it wrong and then get snarky with me because you realize you were wrong.

NEXT!

Take your know nothing about the NFL like getting a franchise QB in free agency and twisting your arguments and go bother someone else.

dak's agent works for dak, not vice versa. while it is within the agent's purview to seek the highest amount he can get his client, dak is surely smart enough to know that if he gets his demands met, one or two very valuable players will have to be let go as there's only so much money to go around. what bothers me about dak is he doesn't seem to care one wit. I wouldn't expect him to be as beneficent as brady was with the patriots, but a little give would go a long way towards showing his purported leadership.

franchise qb's lead their teams to come from behind victories on a consistent basis. guys like Rodgers, brees and Wilson. when is the last time dak led us to a come from behind victory? imo, dak is not a franchise qb.

and I highly doubt that would be his decision to make. doing so would make him look like a quitter. he is not.
Good point. The stat padding is one of those phrases that fans misuse.

he's been forced to pass due to game situations. that's not his fault. but he's just not a Rodgers, brees or Wilson. the great ones get it in the end zone.

Good lord.

Prescott puts up the same production in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarter. If you want to say the offense starts slow, then yes. It does. But this nonsense that he pads stats in garbage time is complete BS because his stats are the same from quarter 2-4.
So I'm still asking: When is "garbage time" if he's putting up the same numbers 2-4?
This has been a really bad 2+ years for you and your "football knowledge." You keep doubling down, and Dak keeps proving you wrong.

He just got severely outplayed by two below average quarterbacks . Lol, and on you go with your third-grade arguments about meaningless passing yardage against the worst teams in football and during garbage time.

How many times are you going to lose these debates before you just quit?

Here you go again suggesting that QBs play one on one. This is why no one takes you serious.

No, but he's good enough.

so where we disagree here is i don’t believe Dak is an average QB. That’s what happens on this board, people come here everyday and start to fall in line with the group think, and popular opinions here get repeated so often, they become accepted as fact.
At the beginning of the season the majority of the posters here were completely down on Dak to the point that some didn’t even believe he was a starter. Then he starts lighting it up, he’s in MVP talks, and everyone agrees he’s the truth. Now were back at him being an “average” QB.

He needs to get paid and we will pay him.

Again, fair enough. Its nice having a conversation where you disagree without turning to insults.

The Dak situation is really multiple conversations:
- How good is he? (IMO, he is around 10th for QB's)
- Can Dallas win a super bowl with him as QB? (IMO yes but many think you need a truly elite QB to win)
- What is the most you can pay him to be QB and put together a top level roster? (IMO, its a really low number. Even the best QB's never win when on a "market value" contract. Even if I put him as the best QB in the NFL I would not pay him $40m per year. Virtually no team wins when they do anything like that.)

agreed with you that it’s nice disagreeing without the drama.
I personally think Dak has the ability to be a Russ level QB. And if the market dictates I need to pay him $40 I’d do it rather than starting another QB search.
