Well, being an out-of-shape, overweight, inactive person is undeniably worse for people when it comes to their health and medical problems.

So the chubby version may appeal to you visually, the leaner stronger version is better for you in the long run.

Amazing transformation, are you a trainer?

I really like Jaylon Smith.. He’s a great person and can be a great player at times too but my gosh what is he thinking lately?

Does the guy have any self awareness what so ever?

We’re 6-7 and he’s the guy dancing and acting like an idiot during games and now he’s asking for help with Pro Bowl votes?

How about go win and play good and all those things will take care of themselves.

I just gotta remind myself that he’s still a young dude but man has he been disappointing lately.
He may not be a great person.
Just a great persona.

cant find many officially missed tackle stats but found this and we do NOT lead the nfl, hard to go through all of it but go down to bottom graph far right Mtckl

https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2019/opp.htm

has AZ-116
lions 106
chargers 102
bucs103
Cowboys 104
Jags 101

but there are MANY at 97 area and goes down from there..

not great to be near the top but theres not big gap from say 2-16 we are talking 6-7 tackles...so it looks like lots of teams share this issue, sure would be nice to be in lower 16 but this stat is overblown and really not official..
If you look at the advanced player stats, Jaylon has 11 missed tackles and a missed tackle rate of 8.4%, which 279th place. LVE has a missed tackle rate of 16.3%, which is 54th. For comparison, Luke Kuechly has 10 missed tackles for a rate of 8.1%. Myles Jack has 12 missed tackles in 11 games and a rate of 15.4%.

The guy has gone full Hollywood. The responses are hilarious.

It was just yesterday I was saying how the Hot Boyz are all "Look at me!", while the unit that actually has done something in the league, the oline, is all about taking care of business.

My least favorite player on the team at this point
Yep, huge disappointment. The way he plays you’d think we were headed to the Super Bowl and he’s a lock for the MVP.

All show, no go.

This is exhibit A as to why this team is a losing team. Here’s a guy having a terrible season, coming off what was his worst game and he’s out pimping for Pro Bowl votes? JFC!! He should spend more time studying film and working on his tackling and less time worrying about things that don’t win the Cowboys games. But this is the mindset of most of the team. And it’s a direct result of lack of accountability as the owner/GM and coach don’t demand it.

After praising Jaylon as one of my “boys”, one more dumb tweet, one more dumb celebration, one more dumb coat and I’m going to go full Zeke on him. I’ve just about had it with this chump and coincidentally it all started after Jerry prematurely paid Jaylon (like the idiot he is) to try and teach Zeke a lesson before he paid Zeke (like the idiot he is).

So, according to some on here just b/c a guy made a tackle means he made a play. So whether that tackle was 2 or 15 yards beyond the LOS is not relevant? His tackling stat is irrelevent b/c a lot of times he's tackling the TE or WR he was defending.

Here's how PFF grades Jaylon

Rank overall #18
Run defense : 86.2 This is an all-pro level grade. 6th highest grade in the NFL
Pass defense 60.9 grade. Not good. Pass defense is where he kills us b/c he's got poor lateral movement and takes bad angles.

in summary, Jaylon is a one dimensional run stuffer.
