Fire everyone
Start over
I think rod is a good Dline coach and Richard is a good DB coach but neither are good DC’s
All defensive coaching staff need gone. Clean out the house and hire someone with better schemes who can adjust on the fly and relates well with the talent on the field. Is that too much to ask? Anyone remember Doomsday defenses? No fear anymore to teams facing our current D. We need to get back to a fearsome defense.

Why don't we hire the Legion of Boom coach from the SHawks?

He has a super bowl ring and coached a team of future HOFs.

You can hand pick the most dominant Oline players and place them on the same team. It doesnt matter how good or big they are if you constantly run the same plays for 20+ years. They will get out schemed and look like scrubs. Raw talent isn't everything in team sports. Good coaching will take you out of the game unless your some freak of nature like Donald where your best hope is to contain him just long enough.

Not rocket science....

Well to the cowboys it is....

I watch this show and I love this show.

I think Shannon Sharp is hilarious.

I don't take anything of of these guys say seriously. They are on to get ratings and entertain and they entertain the heck out of me.

Love it......
Yeah I think it’s funny to watch them go at it. Skip hypes The Cowboys and likes brady and right now Shannon is loving it because they are both losing. They get so mad. Lol.

Skip covered a lot of NFL and Cowboys stuff so he has some insight and little birdies that tell him a few things.

Just saw a video which i i struggled to watch all the way through because of Skip and Shannon.

But watched because Scandrick doesnt sugarcoat the team, but doesnt try and be cute with his responses either.

Skip and Shannon were there as usually trying to out cliche eachother about Jerrys meddling and pep talks and it switched to Scandrick. The look he had was like he was looking at two idiots, and just said Jerry doesnt give pep talks.

Then they start talking about the players and their play. And again Scandricks just looking at both of them and when it switches to him he says, Marinelli is a guy who runs a strict scheme, fundamentals ect. Then just says this isnt Marinelli's scheme, its Richards scheme. Says Theres a reason Carroll got rid of him. Said he is a great Db coach and repeats theres a reason he isnt coaching in seattle.

Then again skip and shannon go off on eachother and it resorts to talking about the offense. Skip starts talking about Elliot and starts talking about all the cliches this forum talks about. The sticking point, Elliot isnt going nowhere with the ball. Scandrick chimes in and says, how is elliot supposed to get going when there are 2-3 guys on him as he gets to the LOS. How is he supposed to get off when youre running the same plays every week. No changes no adjustments.

This is coming from a guy who was on the team just a couple yrs ago.

I've been saying this for a minute.....just saying

Dallas scheme is whats the issue with the OL. Schlereth talked about this a few weeks ago. Said how do you have the best set of blockers in the NFL the biggest guys in the league on your OL and youre running a zone blocking scheme. He said it with disgust.

People will play highlights of Zeke in his rookie year but many of those big runs were out of a power blocking scheme not zone runs. We used to mix it up..don't see it much anymore. We used to pull Zach and Fred out 4-5 times per game, we used block man on man on "half" the runs...don't see that anymore. Dak used to run it 3-4 times per game..don't see that either.

I see shotgun slant.. It's a beautiful play and Dak throws it well but bring back the power run and play keep away. Our defense needs less TOP

Ok, so we all agree. Zeke was never that good he simply had a GREAT Oline that was making him look that good.

Paying a back, and especially Zeke was a monster mistake.

Check and check!!!!

Thanks for the insightful comment on your never ending dislike for Zeke...

Gotta admit I was gushing over the prospect of him eventually moving into JG’s job but now I just want him gone, along with Rod and JG. Moore can stay because I think if we let him loose w/o JG constantly undercutting him we might have something.

I assumed JG would put a leash on Moore but without proof I'm not sure. During the game Garrett doesn't say a single word into his headset. So any interference he's causing is during the week. Never seen a HC not have ANY input during the game. Mind boggling.

Yeah this is like when everyone thought Gurley was a bust the year he kept getting smothered in the backfield every time he took a handoff.

I like hearing ex Cowboys talk truth about how it actually works and is. All the money JJ puts in his team and has a crappy coaching staff.

there was a video posted the other day on Elliots runs as a rookie, and the guy showed the difference in blocking then and now. With the man blocking scheme there were literally 3-5 defenders on the ground every play. Because this OL was just pancaking everybody. You dont see that with this scheme.

It's obviously Richard's scheme. I'll never forget last year we were trying to get ready for the Rams in the playoffs and he takes off to interview for a head coaching job.

The defense was not competitive in the Rams playoff game.

Opponents are just copying the Rams and the Cowboys don't know how to defend it.

Richard is trying to implement work-arounds but in-season changes don't work well if too far from the base scheme.

Heath, CB Brown and DT A.Woods being out is a big problem.

CB Lewis can't get off blocks by WRs.

SS Thompson can't tackle.

DT Woods is really more of a backup type DT which means Covington is a backup-backup.

Before the Rams game it wasn't competitive in the Colts game either.

I just cant figure out why we were so successful before those games?

our OLine is far from the issue. Really comes down to scheme, adjustments, QB play, and disguises. Need more creativity on offense and more a better pass threat.

Im sorry but I would say that they are part of the problem. Now perhaps its because of the scheme at times but I can count alot of plays called back because of penalties.Dallas plays behind the chains a bit much. I have seen more missed blocking assignments in the past 2 years than I can remember the years prior. I do know they pass block better than they run block

you dont have to be embarrassed and called out by the media to make a change

Garrett should have been dismissed in 2008 at the lastest 2010

Theres no reason he should be here well over a decade with no nfccg at the least to show for it
